I just got the appropriate adapters when I ordered from Isaac. It's hard now while he's waiting for inventory, but I'm patient and I have enough toys to experiment with for awhile. I ordered about five different things during that great sale he had, including adapters for the 901 and 801 atties I got to try.

Thanks for showcasing the drip tip on the 306, too. Good to see how that works.

I must have missed the sale but that is ok. I have 2 of his LR 306's and I know I will be fine till his new ones come in. This one I've been using for over a month is still going as strong as when I first started using it. I'm glad you liked it, I will be doing more reviews that is for sure, because it really was fun :)

Great video, Bella - thanks to all your posts I am looking forward to trying a 306 on my next Iken-order. In the meantime I can hardly pry my lips off the 801 atty on my VGO... alternating with a couple of Gold V2 drip-styles which are also awesome.

I haven't even tried the 901 atty or the fusions yet, these others are too mind-bendingly good! I really should have ordered a 306, but I forgot they are 510 compatible when I placed my first order.

My Boge cartos are totally languishing in the box since I discovered Isaac's engineering. All the raves seem completely justified.

Thank you Vapor Chef and it's really great to see you! I can't believe that you never gave the 901 a try. You definitely won't be disappointed but it maybe a trial because of your love for the 801. They are really hard to compete with and their widened room gives much flexibility for alterations. The only successful 7V+ atty we ever made to date :( The 901 is right smacked in the middle of the 801 and a 306 in terms of flavor and actual feel. The reason why it's one of the favorites is because of it's low liquid consumption. If overfilled, it will proudly let you know. It can be a learning process especially coming from an 801 or even a 510 model.

The 306 is more like a 510 but gives off a slightly higher percentage in flavor and also a less liquid consumption. Mwa taught me: with a translucent drip tip on, fill it till it reaches the top of the bridge and vape away. It makes no mess and will last a very good session.

The Fusion has been an all star, it's much like the Boge 510, but has a more constricting air flow which also acts as a bottom leak guard. The filler is nearly identical, whereas being loose for drip friendliness and the coil is positioned vertically much like both the V2 Gold and Platinum.

Happy New year Chef and that's a mighty fine unit you have displayed there :thumb:

Well thank you so much for that info on the 901, Isaac! I was away for a long time over the holidays juggling some family logistics so I simply haven't gotten around to trying it yet (almost like I'm hoarding it; I like to contemplate the future options of my shiny toys and pace myself, it's nice to anticipate a pleasant new adventure that still awaits me).

I'm exploring different flavors on the 801 - dripping in that vs. the same juice in the V2 Gold, can't believe the difference sometimes. I've been going through so much juice lately, it's too much nic! With the 801 I have started to take breaks with 0mg unflavored 50/50 - even that is an unexpected joy. So I'll have to try the 901 pretty darn soon, now I know its juice consumption is lower... with one of my favorite vendor-flavors that has been discontinued (SO sad).

But this thread is about the 306, and it's good to know it is also easy on the juice consumption, and the best way to use it. I'll have to get one before I completely run out of my beautifully aged Butter Pecan... they deserve each other.

I do enjoy my pretty red VGO, it's my best battery... but it's taking a rest right now on the charger. I should recharge myself, too... so I bid you all adieu for the night.

Vape on!

Absolutely bang on in my experience as well.

Thanks for all the info Isaac. I know I've ordered a couple times for you in the past week, but once you restock I think I'm going and a few of everything especially those fusion cartos and your lr306s :)

And a Good afternoon to you!
Oh my, nothing is more saddening than a vendor discontinuing a favored liquid :( I really feel for you Vapor Chef. If your into or curious about DIY liquid. Switched has made a Great recipe to Buttery nipple, I haven't tried it, but it would sound logical to replace the Irish cream with Pecan. Buttery Nipple it's a long shot, but a person can go a long way chasing their favored juice. So just incase you want to take the venture.
Speaking of adventures! Don't go for the 901 just yet! I know exactly what you mean! You definitely don't want this trail to end early. Just like great any great movie or novel series, when it ends the emptiness generates. Then it will be time to revisit favorite chapters.

Back to the 306 :D
I did come across 8 of the HV 306 over here. However for the next batch with the new heating elements. We're planning on making them a True dripper's atomizer by having the wick not installed during the production cycle as they have proven to be the weak point in these guys. Even if properly filled initially the odds of burning the wick can still be fairly common and once burned the acrid taste will be inevitable till removed. Once removed they shine like like night and day, much like the same liquid being used on an 801 to 510.

You sound like my Brother from Another Mother, Isaac, you got me exactly! I work in the events industry and there's always the post-partum depression when a show is over after weeks/months of prep & planning, I know it well.

But no worries here about adventures in abeyance. I also have a couple of untried Fusions waiting, and I felt like an idiot after I read it's basically a 510 carto for 801 threads - I ordered an adapter to use it on my 510 batteries... seemed a little roundabout-silly. But then I read about someone else using it just like that and loving it. So I'll just have to see for myself - whenever the karma feels right, haha!

I've been doing DIY juice almost since the beginning (you think I picked this screen name by accident?) so thanks for the recipe idea - I don't have those particular flavorings though (got about two dozen others and keep adding more) but maybe Switched will pop in and tell us what brand of flavorings his recipe uses. The butterscotch I have is LorAnn and completely blah, very disappointing as I had made butterscotch cookies from their food flavoring and they were FABULOUS... I got so excited about the possibility of vaping an equivalent that I ordered two bottles of the LorAnn flavoring (one to replace the kitchen bottle). But the labeling indicates it's LorAnn's vape-tweaked flavor, not the same stuff I used for the cookies. If it also fails to make good cookies, I'll PIF the second unopened bottle and hope someone else likes it better.

It's ALL an adventure.

Funny thing about the Butter Pecan, I never paid for any of it although I certainly tried. The first 10ml was a sample in my first MadVapes order, and on my next order I was moaning about them not having any to buy on the site... I'd been waiting for them to restock, and delayed placing my order for some road trip hardware, but finally the departure date was imminent, I had to move ahead without it. Then Mark found a 30ml bottle somewhere and put it in as a surprise!! - I was floored at that! It's gotten even better with age, and they've only discontinued it until they can reformulate (diacetyl-free) up to their flavor standards, having problems getting it right. So eventually it should reappear and maybe I can actually pay them next time. I can wait.

The wickless 306 sounds very interesting, as long as it meets your standards I'm sure I will like it. I love having found such great suppliers who strive for top quality and customer satisfaction like you guys do - so far I have not had a disappointing order in all my experiences since May (caveat, I do a lot of research before I click anyone's Buy button).

I just wish I had someone else to vape with in real life. I ordered two USB Ego passthroughs on the weekend, one is for a friend in Harrisburg who wants to convert, so maybe I will take a slight detour when I visit her - so that I can shake your hand in person, sir.

What's the benefit of the 306 LR atty over the 510 LR atty? I can see the difference in the configuration but why would one be preferred over the other?

From my experience, 306 atties provide a much better flavor than 510s. I also find that, when comparing the same ohm and voltage, 306 style atties provide a better TH.

any idea yet when you will get the LR 306's and I am using the derlin 510 drip tip now so I take it I will need another 306 tip? Thanks, Scott

you don't *need* a 306 tip, you can always use the stock cover, but you'd have to remove, drip, replace. but the 510 tip won't work on the 306. the 510 tip sits inside the atty, and the 306 tip fits over. there is a mod you can do to use a 510 tip on a 306 however. it involves cutting a spacer of the 306 cover, then using a gutted 510 atty shell that is slipped over the 306, allowing use of a 510 tip.
