I know it's old news to you long time customers but I had to share. I am a GG nut and was using the 801 Fusion LR and they were really good. I finally invested in a feed system for my GGTS and saw that Isaac offered a 901 cartomizer.

After emailing him and finding out they are only available in black, I still ordered 10. I needed the bare metal as paint or powder coat will come off inside the tank of the AVS. At their great prices, even if I couldn't easily make them usable in my tank feeder, it was still a good buy.

They arrived today and I took a buffing pad in hand and was soon able without any actual buffer attached, to take the black coating off. That was about 6 hours ago. I knew the horizontal coil on these was a design preference for me but Isaac, man, you guys re-invented the 901 for real!

Just finished off 5ml of my favorite juice (yeah I'm a juice hog ) and I am amazed. Not a dry hit in all 5ml. In fact, it was down right moist. Other than being a bit light headed from the marathon session, I am as happy as a clam. (although I am not sure why a clam is considered to be "happy")

Headed over to order more as soon as I finish here. And for anyone having a use for a 901, you have to try these things out. Yes the Fusions are great but you hit it out of the park with the 901 cartos. They are amazing and cost effective.

Thanks Isaac! :thumb:

I'm so glad I ran into this post.

I was just shopping to try cartos all over again. Before, I had tried some *eh* so-so ones where the poly-fill was always part of the flavor, and I never tried another carto since. I like the clean flavor of a well-tweaked CE2 and from my low-res Atty.

So which Cartos to try? I've been hearin' about the Boge LR Cartos, and then just the other day I read the Beta-test thread about IkenVape's LR 901 Cartos...and I must say, I was quite intrigued! I called my brother to tell him about it. However, he was tootin' on his new Boge Carto and was quite happy with it.

So now I just gotta know which one performs better.
How do Ike's LR 901 Cartos compare to Boge LR Cartos?
(flavor, TH, vapor, use, quality, etc.)

PS: In the beta-thread, Vaporologist gave a nice comparison between the 2 cartos. But I'm dying to hear more about how they compare. And, how does the IKV 901 Carto compare to dual coils? and to a CE2 in a MapTank? and to a low-res atty? Have you (or anyone else) tried the IKV LR 901 cart in a Carto Tank? Any of these or other reference points would be helpful.

PPS: And to those who beta-tested the IKV LR 901 Carto in the beta-test thread...how has the Carto held up?

Thank you all in advance. I've been learning so much from you guys! :thumb:

Day 5 update: These things continue to impress. Or should I say "thing" as I am still on my first one! And that's after approx. 24ml of juice through it. I did find a small issue for tank system users.

The default 901 vent hole is great for using it as designed but after about 16ml I started getting a harsh, carto type hit. Took it out of the AVSv2 and tried it as a normal carto (as in on a PV alone w/o tank) and it performed well again. After a few minutes thinking/looking it over, it seems my juice of choice (TV Atomic Cinnacide) was narrowing the already small vent with buildup.

After using a small pick to reopen the vent, it dawned on slow old me that said vent hole was the sole source of juice from the tank. Taking a page from other tank type feeders, I opened the default vent to about twice its normal 901 spec size. Problem solved. It should be obvious but just to clarify, this was a feeder issue, not the carto.

Replaced it in the AVS, refilled the tank and continued my chain vaping without a harsh or dry hit. Any folks thinking of using this in a tank system, suggest noting the size of intake hole or slot most tanks use and it will make sense. Being a bottom coil carto is all that prevented the "problem" from showing earlier. At any rate, it continues to impress as noted.

By most any standards, if you can get 30ml out of a single carto (and I should hit that by this time tomorrow), it's a winner. When it does so with the moist, dense and flavor packed vapor this design provides at a mere $1.75 per, I don't see how anyone could complain.

Vape on! :vapor:

Yet another reason I wont vape TV atom cinn. It was my all day for a long time but man is it hard on equipment. As far as the 901 cartos, I only enjoyed them when they were fully topped off so putting them in a tank is perfect, glad you found something you love.

IME everything is very subjective. Ya need to take them out for a test drive :) e.g I absolutely hate CE2s, but some folks swear by them?

Yeah, I know, my picture looks deeeeeeeviously deceiving
doesn't it. But I promise...I won't bite. :D

Oh, by da way Mr Switch dude...

So I got this IKV 901 LR Atty about 4 days ago.

Well, compared to the SmokTech LR Atty I've been using...

It was like jumping off a lawn-mower and
into a leather-upholstered 5.0Liter BMW!!...

So...feel free to welcome me to the IkenVape "family"...'cause I'm in!! :D
