What do you mean exactly by "the empire drip shield route"? I have one myself and would like to employ it for use if possible. I too dislike the drip tips simply because the liquid ALWAYS gets stuck. Very annoying.

I will explain to you what I was using before as a drip tip: I took the black delin I06 tip and sawed off the mouthpiece end with a dremel. Then I stuck in a 510 drip tip ontop and it works swimmingly. The fit is a bit tight, although. Once you get it in dont take it out.

well from the way I understand, if you have the other tip (black delrin) the Empire will sleeve over it and create not only a drip shield but a tighter grip all together and i have also heard okay reviews on a pyrex (glass) styled DT that has some mixed reviews...but the real thing hear is that there is DCA in the works..and that is just .... up good new in my eyes!

Certainly the Drip Cup Adapter should solve all drip-tip related issues. In the mean time I have sanded out the inside of my black delrin 306 Cannon drip tip in order to accomidate the i06. It seems to be working well. I will definitely give the drip shield a go too.

By the way, I have had this same avatar for about two years. You are the first person to mention anything about it. "Ashes of The Wake" has got to be one of the best albums ever. :2cool:

So, if you watch my review on the mantis i put the 2.5 on i06 on there @6v thinking to myself hahaha I am so smarty mc smart smart and was dripping one of my stronger juices...a Lo and Behold the th on it was like a cannon ball at terminal velocity and I put the 3.5 IKV on and it had a little more tame TH...so it was still enjoyable, however when i put the 3.5 on at 5v i felt like i was nursing it..dislike...and i now realize it is 230 am and i have how very soon and all of this is most likely an irrelevant yet accurate ramble of obvious information..

Goodnight

I really enjoy the i06 because it's durabality. I like to push this atomizer as much as I can. Typically I like to vape the 3.5ohm atomizer at 8.3v, stacking two 4.2v batteries. I tend to keep the drags short but oh my, nothing hits better. I have been seeing longevity (although comparitevly short) around one month or so. Definetly a badass atomizer.

Haha oh yeah. I don't ALWAYS use such power. Maybe 50% of the time. I use either the 7mm Bullet or BB from altsmoke with two 3.7v 14250 batteries. I have a new Silver Bullet coming in the mail where I will use two 3.7v AW IMR 16340 batteries. That setup makes HUGE clouds of vapor, which is the most satisfying thing for me.

The trick is to take shorter drags of course, usually up to 3 seconds. As well, I usually don't take more than 5 pulls in a row. Then I will set the mod down and make sure the atomizer does not overheat, and add liquid only when the atomizer is back at room temperature.

Scorched is a fitting name for sure. :2cool:
