Is there a big difference between the IKenvape Fusion punch and the Platinum S series cartos when used in an IBTanked tank?
I currently use both the 510-Fusion and the Platinum (punched, standard resistance). IMO they vape exactly the same. Fusion has a flange and the Plats do not.

Isaac (Mr. Ikenvape) has said the 510-Fusion series were designed specifically to be used in cartotanks - from the density of the polyfill to the modified air flow. As I said, I can't tell the difference between Fusion and Plats. If a flange is important to you, get the Fusions. I notice that some of the Plats now have a larger size laser-drilled hole, but I've not had the opportunity to use those yet.

Ikenvape has their own Supplier Forum where you may find some additional information and opinions of customers who use them. IkenVape

So good to see this thread. I've been enjoying a larger IBTanked tank for my mini Provari. I just ordered a 15 mm standard for my Precise Simplicity and was investigating IkenVapes cartos and asking myself the same thing: to flange or not to flange? I use flanged in my larger tank but honestly don't know if it is necessary?? Seems that IbTanked tanks have great orings and with an appropriate drip tip is a flange necessary? Is the flange purpose to keep the tube from slipping down? Am seeking opinions as well here and will look at the supplier forum as well. Thank you.

A flange is not necessary for the majority of quality made tanks, especially pyrex tanks. The flange was put on Smoktech cartos because their original DCT tank was slippy-slidey on cartos. Instead of perfecting their tanks, they chose to go another route by putting a flange on their cartos.

Bad - Do you know if Ikenvape ever has all the punch cartos in stock? I'd like to try both kinds but I can't seem to ever get any since they are always out of stock on the sizes I need.
The "notify me by email when this item is in stock", combined with the limited size of his batches and the stellar reputation makes it a real crap-shoot to just visit the site and rely on what's in stock.

If you know what size, type and resistance that you want, it's a REALLY good move to get on the "notify me" listing and move quickly when you get the email.

I agree with Recon. Best bet is to get the email notice and act quickly when you receive the notice. It's not uncommon for a new batch to sell out within 48 hours.

The last time I made a purchase, Isaac had a limit of 25 cartos of any one model. So I purchased 25 of the Fusion and 25 of the Plats, which I am still using.
