I met John when I was 10 years old. We played hockey together, way back then. We've stayed in touch since, and shared a misguided affection for the Miami Dolphins (don't laugh, especially YOU, Mr. World Champion Studmaster).
Sundays at the Elks Club were/are somewhat of a weekly ritual. Johnny came FULL-OUT, without exception. He even had the funniest hat I've ever seen in my life. A BIG Dolphin on his head. Every week. FUNNY STUFF.
