I woke up to a larger version of this today.

So much for sleeping as late as I wanted to.
Omg I want that! Is he/she yours?
To be honest, most of my trips out of the house are just a chance to get away from the constant negativity here...and a chance to blast some music. Nothing I can do at the moment about my living situation, so I'll use most any excuse to go to town. Lately even when I'm sleeping, if something pops into her head she'll wake me up to tell me. Doesn't matter if it's 4am, 6am...now you know why I usually sleep until 10'ish. Katie goes to bed around 9 or 10pm, so the hours until I retire around 3am are the only semi peaceful hours I get. At least I have a roof over my head!!
:( Aww Miss D
I'm really sorry.

I just watched Chef. It was a pretty good movie. Funny in places. I liked it. It was a fun movie.

Morning all. I hope everyone's well and I mainly wanted to wish Mr. Stud good luck tonight.

I know it won't mean much to him, but I could use good games by Wilson and Harvin (spoken selfishly, of course).

Happy ... Thursday!

Thank DP. And it does mean a lot to me.

Isaac I have to watch that one.

Ikenvapers, Good morning.

I made it til 2! Barely. And I almost slept til 9, save a little incident around 5. Stupid cat. Then he had the nerve to growl at me when I got up to put him in the kennel.

A couple hours & I leave for the new gig. Nervous. I dislike major change.... or moreso, it makes me feel nervous & uncomfortable. Luckily it only tends to last a few days to a week.

You'll do great Oz!! You've got this by the sac ;)

Thanks Isaac, it'll work out the way it's meant to work. When the ex gets out of prison a year from now, I'm quite sure I'll be evicted since Katie put the house in his name some years ago. I seriously thought about taking it in the divorce, but I just can't wrap my head around taking something that doesn't belong to me. If I end up living in a cardboard box, you can bet I'll be moving that box to a warmer climate

Oye, spent all morning going through Katie's Medicare stuff for her re-determination for the state of CT's Medicare savings plan. Seems her financial adviser is not too easy to get in touch with  She was tickled to find her birthday card by her breakfast bowl this morning :)

Who needs a box in a warmer climate when you could have a yurt in Montana?

I'm sure I'll be fine - it's nothing all that new. I've spent 15 years in food service & I've done a ton of baking. Doesn't ease the nerves at all. New place, new people. It's just rather overwhelming & takes a lot of energy to cope with. I'm not exactly a social butterfly.

Aw Miss D!! Oh sweet heart! No no no way. This casa is your casa if it ever comes down to it. We do have a toy room that is need of a makeover to be back to guest room status, but it's totally yours.

What a guy. That is so nice. That's what I like about the Ikenvape forum. It attracts the nicest people. The kind of people I like being around.

Speaking of yurts etc. When they enlarged the dam in Page Arizona they built brand new homes for the tribal members but they didn't want to live in them so they took the doors off and their animals used the new homes. They built hogans in the yard to live in.

After a quick look on Google Earth it looks like they finally got out of that because I didn't see anymore in the town. I lived there for awhile in my younger days.

Isaac, that is very sweet and I thank you for the thought  I wouldn't really end up living in a cardboard box...I have a car! Anyway, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

That's like a log yurt J5! I've been sort of following the news about building the super small houses for the homeless, and love that idea as well.

Oz, good luck tonight! I think we all hate change and let it make us nervous :)

Hmmm, wonder who would win between KD's bird and Oz's bobcat looking cat?
