I think we've got the same weatherman, so to speak. Here's to hoping they're on target this time, because my "helper" is currently undergoing a heart transplant. That's his new heart, still in the box. He won't be fully "recovered" for at least a week.

But on a GOOD note, I am absolutely LOADED with IKV slotted Platinums!!! :D

Oh NO! How quickly until that can get addressed, catcat? In the meantime, it might not be a bad idea to lightly drip your cold water faucets. At the current temps you're probably OK, but it's not worth taking the chance. Frozen pipes suck :-(

I hope someone's coming today for you!

And while this might be totally irrelevant, is anyone else insulted at the implications that ECF thinks they know us well enough to make such a judgment call?

I've worked very hard to get where I'm at, and I wish they'd stay the heck out of my way.

They're coming to take me away (ha-ha, hee-hee, ho-ho)...

Wasn't that bad. only about 5 in. Where I'e been that is just a dusting. I never had problems driving in snow. You gotta forget about the brake and no quick movements and you'll be fine.

Cat I'm sorry about you being without heat. Make sure you dress warm and get some heat. You can rent a heater until your is fixed.

The fact that she remains without heat is disconcerting, to say the least. Thoughts are with you, Cat!!!

To J5, I agree. Brakes in cars are over-rated. In fact, I'd greatly prefer it if people would just get the &*^% out of my way when they see me coming, but I admit to having to step on that middle peddle now and again.

And Bo, well, dayum - THAT sounds like a GREAT idea. I just I just might...
