I lost one of my kids back to smoking. He went 8 months vaping. We all hammered him this weekend and he may now be inheriting one of spare iSticks. I was holding them for two of the other kids, since I KNOW they're going to break down, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
EIGHT months (smh). He's the only smoker in a family of converted vapers. Very sad.
DP, I think it's the bling that makes me so happy. Gad! If I wasn't into the bling, I would have more money. But it really does make me happy.
Same here...had my 34 year old son vaping for about 6 months and he just went back to smoking. Grrr...he has serious asthma and well on his way to COPD. It's very upsetting to me.
We used to get them for a quarter from a machine at the I-95 rest area behind my house. Dumb little schmucks, us.
Real life is over-rated.
My friends and I used to sneak into this restaraunt/bar that had a machine in the hall and we got our smokes for .25 or .35 a pack. It was too easy.

All we can do is show them the path to a better alternative, but it's sad to watch them stray. That psychological hook is deeply embedded and harder to get past for some.
Lawn mowed, hopefully for the last time this season. Weather says we may get an inch or 2 of snow in the wee hours before dawn, but the temp tomorrow up to 40 with sun, so shouldn't be any need to drag out the shovels.

Hey you.... one more ENORMOUS thank you for you help last nite and today. I do believe we had one happy 1097 day old vaper in our midst.
The people laughed and danced. The cake is long gone (don't worry, I saved the mods), and now I'm going to clean up the kitchen.

We have about a half inch of snow on the deck,vehicles etc but almost nothing on the ground.
