You all are so awesome ima gonna cry! :) Thanks!!! Kat!! That does look like the kbox and defender are pretty close in size and button placement!!! I'll check them out. Welcome back your Wharf'ster! (were you away or just off work?) I'll check out the D2 as well. If heard good things about them as well (except maybe when they got to D4 or something?? complaints)

Anyway... Thanks again all!!

No prob, Pizza!

Just by the way, and this was something DPL and I discussed, all of the swappable batt mods ARE heavier than the internal ones. I don't really know why that is, but it is.

If I were to favor one of those four I posted, I might give a slight edge to the Defender (gorgeous big, bright screen, slightly less hefty, and hand comfort like no other), except for the color(s). I'm kinda of done with Chinese red, blue, silver, and black.

WharfLee and 5ish, perhaps we should weigh these little guys? Maybe DPL can make us a spreadsheet.....

JOKING, DPL! I swear! Just joking!!!

I was reading on the defender and it looks pretty cool. I just don't like mods with built in batteries I can't change when they get bad. That's just my thang BUT for the price and the mod I like it.

The Heatvape Defender is another variable wattage mini box mod like the iStick and other similar devices. This one incorporates a nifty innovative idea with the knurled top cap piece. It can be unscrewed and flipped over to reveal an ego threading connection. Pretty cool! It has a spring loaded 510 pin so all your atomizers are going to sit flush. It is adjustable from 5 watts to 25 watts or from 1 volt to 8 volts. It will fire as low as 0.5ohms and as high as 3.0ohms and has a built-in 2600mah battery.

I have had each of the Defender models. The 25w (sold), two of the 36w, and the 50w. The ones you have pictured are the 25 or 36, and yes, they have internal batts...... but boy whatta mod! There IS something special about these little creatures. Be it that odd center eGo adapter (which allows you to have your tank centered, unlike most of the other and newer lil mods), or be it the incredible hand feel and weight. It blows the 'Sticks away, truly.

The 50w (the pink one) is slightly heavier, and slightly wider, but shorter. It doesn't have THE exquisite hand feel, but it comes close. For a device with an 18650 swappable, I'm still giving it KatApproval and very high marks!

DOH!!! I got lost in all the options you good folks were giving me. I thought I mentioned it, but apparently I wasn't clear enough. I am exactly the same 5C. I want removable batteries. So the Kbox may be the one? I'll have to read back...

(I never wanted to buy internal battery mods in the first place, but I got them at such a good deal way back that I bit! And after now just buying her two more iStick 30Ws (I got them at a wholesale price through a friend ;)) because her old ones' batts aren't lasting as long. THAT started my search for a new mod:))

I just PIFed a kbox to a lady yesterday to get her away from stinkies.

You are so nice J

So, left to right: iStick with sillycone sleeve, Heatvape Defender, Kbox Mini, Billet Box.

Only the iStick has an internal non-swappable batt, and is necessarily lighter in weight than the others.

Cute cute cute K1!! I gave my new neighbor an istick. Now I'm down to one and need another skinny mod. The white one is cute, but you like the defender better Kat??

I don't mind at all 5card!! I've been thinking about one of those for me-self! :) Thank for the price!!! (Wait... maybe I shouldn't thank you.... my wallet won't thank you.... hmmm.. WAIT!! I just got my wife the two new iStick 30Ws!!! Just maybe I'll need a payday or two to do the research on what is absolutely best for her!!! yeah!! That's it!!!! :) ) So thank you!!!! :)

I'll find out later when I read about the mini kbox and the clouper mini (was there another recommendation that size with removable battery?) But one VERY important requirement I forgot for my wife's is are you able to lock in the voltage or wattage and vape on????? She has terrible fumble fingers..
