I've never been a fan of flat tips either but I do like that one. I think it's time for me to get some material and start turning out some tips. I have plenty of burl but I need some other types.

I stripped my raw BB down tonight, as it's time that K and I switch out those wraps. I forgot how nice they were, behind the wraps. New ones go on tomorrow but tonight we're riding kommando style.

l'm without paint myself. He does have nice stuff. I finally got my first piece of bling for my Bbox. It's a seahawks helmet that I'm putting on the button. Gotta get some clear to cover it though.

I'm kinda bummed that my new drip tip won't fit the 510 Fusions. I bought it and the 510's for my ProV...it fits fine on the 801's.

Hey Bovi - what about changing the oring? Would that work? Or is not at all good for any 510? That would stink.
What ended up being wrong with your Provi, by the way? Did you ever figure it out?
The Seahwawks won - pretty or ugly never matters (in football). Congrats!
On the BB, you've got the better one. I like the raw one but it requires a LOT of maintenance (and scratch VERY easily). The anodized ones are basically plug-and-play (Kat's bristling at my use of hyphens right there), and if I had to choose one, I'd choose the latter.
But I'll never sell my raw one either
DP they won but more important to me is their last set of downs they looked like a team again. But aqfter a team gets all the new players they got it takes a few years to play good together. There's only been 5 teams ever make the playoffs after a superbowl win or so the announcer said.
There was a VERY GOOD article in the Wall Street Journal this week, about the single biggest difference in the team. I can't post it but I can email it if you'd like to read it. It basically said that the depth strength from last year couldn't exist this year due to the salary cap. It made some very good points. I'm not sure you'd ENJOY it, but you might like it.

Ya I've read 3 or 4 things on them. They lost about all their old veterans like Red Bryant and them guys do a lot for a team. Now they are a lot of young guys. Wouldn't be a good sport if the same team won every year though.
DP, there was nothing wrong with my ProV, it was the cartos and probably user error / frustration. And it was brought on by the drip tip that won't fit on the 510 Fusions I ordered. Changing the o-ring won't help. The 510 Fusions are just a teeny bit smaller ID than they should be, making all my tips fit very tight. The new tip is a rainbow anodized one, and just a tad bigger OD...tight fit on my 801s. SOooooo...instead of using another perfectly good 510 Fusion and a different tip, I scrounged through my stockpile for other 510s and came up with a handful of "who knows what brand" that my new shiny tip would fit.
They all metered around 2.8 so I started them out at 4.0v on the Pro. Not warm enough...nudge, rinse, repeat until wham! Not warm enough on 4.1, 4.2 burnt Repeat x 2 and I gave up on "who knows what brand." The last fried one prompted the ProV to give me an over current E2 error.
The lesson here? I clearly made the right choice sticking with IKV cartos!! That handful of other brands has been in my shouldn't have wasted my money drawer for several years!
