Wishing everyone a good week. I'm feeling much better, thank goodness. I'm picking up a dear friend of mine I grew up with and taking care of her from Thursday through Sunday as she recovers from surgery. "See" you Sunday via text J!!

Those cow eyes are exactly how I've been feeling the last few weeks!!
I have finally been successful in getting the ex out of that horrid drug infested halfway house he was paroled to, he will be moving back in here by the weekend. Just met with the parole officer who told us that if he gets out of control or doesn't abide by mine and Katie's house rules, all we have to do is make a phone call and have him removed. So it's very reassuring to know that he has to abide not only his parole conditions, but our rules as well.
I have spent some time with him since his parole, and he is committed to staying in therapy, and staying clean and sober. If he slips, he's outa here.

thank you Cat. It was a tough decision to make but I think he deserves a stable place to live to stay on the right path. Don't confuse hi coming back here as us getting back together....that's not ever going to happen.

Just wanted to let you know I made contact with Rosco. I had called him about 2 weeks ago and it went to voice mail. It scared me because he has always answered my calls. I texted him last week and he texted back. He's had some serious setbacks and wasn't up to talk.
If you are so inclined, I'd ask you to keep him in your prayers as I'm sure he needs a lot right now.
