Looking for the Boge LR experience? But better flavor and a carto that lasts much longer! I've been searching for a replacement for the Boge LR on an eGo type device. I've heard of folks getting their LR Boges to last up to a week...? give or take... That never happened for me. Mine lasted one day. Two if I was lucky. Before the taste went south and I tossed them. Couldn't live with that taste. I needed a better option.
(I know I really need HV for what I'm looking for, just can't afford it.)
I got hooked on the Boge LR cartos for their warm, easy draw, reckless TH, and good VP. And have been looking for this in Ikenvape cartos due to Isaac's reputation of making cartos that last.
I've tried most cartos out there and every 510 carto from Ikenvape. And a couple non-510 via adapters. He has some really awesome cartos. Always great flavor and VP. The Platinum came closest. Gold V2 (I think) and fusion were good. But not quite warm and/or airy enough. I thought the 510 LR mega was it, but I kept burning them. I haven't tried any that were "bad". All performed as designed.
But none, including 1.5 and 1.25 DCs from other vendors. None of of them hit my sweet spot. Very close, but I always went back to Boge LRs.
I beta tested the 1.6 SC and DC 1.6. Both were great! The SC was hitting it for me. Easier draw and warmer than the DC. But I only had one. And a mishap with a paper clip that put that one to an early death. I have been aching to try another.
I finally got the chance when I made an order and I asked Isaac about them since they were out of stock. He was gracious enough to add them to my order!
These have been reworked in a few different ways. (I don't know what all he did. But I do know the SCs are longer)
These reworked ones are even better! Very, very close to the Boge LR. Better flavor. Maybe not quite as much VP. But very close, if not the same. VP isn't the most critical facter for me. So I won't judge that. I just know there's plenty for me.
I'm in love!
And great news for me! At 5+ days of exclusively using one of these SC 1.6s. (I usually would have 2 Boges and alternate them), this thing is still kicking like the day it was born!! (That's double the savings in $$ for me. And its not over!)
Anybody looking for this experience on a 3.4ish device has to check these out.
I always have spares in my pocket, ready to use when it fails. It just won't happen. I'll report back as to how long it lasts.
