IKV LR 510 - New Batch?

I bought a few when they came back in stock a couple months ago, liked them a lot, easily on par with the Ciscos I had been using. When it came time to reorder I chose IKV and got 15.

These newer ones have smaller print on them so I know they're a different run. Mrs dopeh tried one first and was quite happy. A few days later I popped one on my REO Grand, and though the 1st hour was rough (alternating between mouthfulls of juice and burnt wick), what followed was a bliss that I can hardly describe.

This atty draws so freely I barely have to pull. The TH is dependent solely on how long I hold down the switch - in other words: phenomenal. Flavor is great too, and the plumes are enough to block my view of the road.

Are these any different internally from the previous run with the larger print? Anyone know? I don't know what the deal is, but PLEASE never ever change a thing! The first ones were good but these are ridiculously amazing lol

The 306 works great too, compared to other brands, but the 510 is miles ahead of anything else I've tried.

I believe the difference you may be noticing are the new Usa made internals, Isaac sends them to China and has them installed into the atties. Someone correct me if I am wqrong. I believe the 306 has the USA internals as well.

I think the first batch also had the USA internals. The 306 and 510 were out of stock for a looong time, I believe they made their return with the new American parts. Not 100% though.

Could just be that this particular atty is GOLDEN, or something changed in the mfg process with wonderful results.. Isaac?

You could be right since I cant remember when the announcement was made that the 510 and 306 would have usa made internals but if it was after the first batch you bought then this would make sense. I know Isaac is super busy at the moment so we will have to be patient for a reply.

edit; so I just searched my inbox and found the announcement of the usa internals and it was in Nov 2010 so it looks like you are correct that they more than likely both had the same internals.

In all seriousness, I haven't tried a 510 in months... so I wouldn't be able to tell you the difference. Isaac has a .... ton of orders to fill so who knows when he'll pop on here lol.

LOL Nope, no burning of any kittens here Dope.
Always adjusting my good skeleton. Nearly each batch we do, we fine tune in areas a little more with the aim of perfection. Personally I'm really happy with the latest batch the most. IKV HV 3.5 The camera doesn't do it too much justice, but the point is to keep the engravings fairly light for discretion.
These will be going up as the recent is almost dwindled out, they are internally identical to the lighter print as you have. Airflow is definitely key to these guys just as much as the filaments are. The coolest thing is we managed to pull off not only 1.8Ω and 3.5Ω but the infamous middle ground for folks who enjoy the cooler side of vaping and the 5V users, creating the 2.5Ω. Which will be going up along with agood amount of new products as soon as I catch up on the orders. Which tomorrow should be the day! So Hopefully tomorrow night, I can do the inventory of the goodies and the new 2.5Ω as all have been tested and working perfectly.

Thanks buddy, and I agree, these are slightly better than the previous - keep up those tweeks! The first batch was so good I reordered triple quantity, not knowing they'd be even better..score. Also true about the airflow, I know some folks like a tight draw but IMO the more airflow the better, to a point.

Next time around I'll be sure to try the 2.5 and 3.5, I have the batts for 6v but only tried 'em on RR510 from my eGo (lol) - wasn't impressed, as those Joye atties vape like golf balls through a garden hose..

I'll have to wait til this postal strike ends, though I was lucky enough to be well stocked
