I'm doing an overnight smoke of an 11lb Bone-in Pork .... tonight (actually a picnic, but what fun is that to say)!! Gonna throw it on hopefully between 10pm and midnight, and be done around noon tomorrow. I'm throwing it on a homemade UDS and hopefully the temps will stabilize around 275°. Just in time to enjoy for a nice Sunday dinner! Just rubbed my .... down a few minutes ago!

Congrats. Good stuff. Ugly drums are great. I did a button on my Weber smokey mountain last weekend. Melts in your mouth like butter. I did BBQ competitions for a while. Used to place pretty high in them. I can do some killer ribs too. Have fun.

Nice, sounds like a great time! Yeah the Ugly Drum only cost like $50, much better for my price range than the Smokey Mountain, although Weber does make great products. I actually have a Weber kettle that I use about 3 times a week that is dated 1979!

Love doing me some ribs on the UDS as well!

Is that a SHO in your avatar? If it is we could have a Ford picnic! I'm a huge Ford fan as well, and currently have a couple Fox bodies.
I'm in Exeter, not to far at all! I've been wanting to check out the Vape Cafe in Ephrata, how is that place?

Ahhh, good eye, it is a SHO... 93' 5-speed, love that car, but she is starting to fall apart, in major need of a resto. So she may get to see the inside of a barn soon... for the next couple of years, but she will return better than new I promise. The SHO is an amazing car, I have always been a fanboy of the fox body stangs as well.... Just a beautiful car IMO.

ETA... The Vape Cafe is great, they are having a vape breakfast meet tomorrow. Little high on price for juice, but their hardware is reasonable. Of course you can try the juice first. I have found some good DIY's from trying their flavors... LoL.

Thanks! How long does it take in the crock pot? I wouldn't even be able to fit this one in the crock pot! I'll have to make sure to get another pic of it after it's done!

That's awesome! You're gonna have to let me know when their next meet is. I wish I would've known earlier, I would've tried to make it. I'll be babysitting this .... all morning though:)
I remember I called them when they first opened and asked them the price of their juice and I thought it was outrageous, so I didn't make it a priority to try and get there. Now that I know that their hardware prices aren't bad I'll definitely have to get up there for a meet.
I love me some SHOs, wanted one for a long time a while back, but just never jumped the gun! I'm also a fan of the SVT Contour, I think it could be a fun commuter.
Wow, just thinking about it, I can't remember the last time I saw a SHO on the road, it has to be close to a year now, and I keep an eye out for that type.

Oh heck, the longer the better

I just usually dump it in there, dump some dry onion soup mix over it, pour some cola on there (yes, cola, not diet, the stuff with sugar) and cook it all day,,,,,,,,,,

then I pull it apart, mix up my BBQ sauce, pour that over the whole thing and let it go another hour or two,,,,,,,,,
