Yesterday, I found another place in the Chicago area that does not allow vaping.

The 2 places that do not allow (and they were jerks about it too):

1.) Casey's. Rt. 64 (North Avenue), Lombard/Carol Stream. Place is very dark and depressing anyway. The kitchen staff can be heard arguing with each other and one of the waitresses was pouting at one fo the booths ranting about how stupid some customers are. Reason: They just don't want it. :(

2.) Cubby Bear North. Rt. 21 (Milwaukee avenue), Libertyville/Lincolnshire.
This was a shocker! They are usually laid back and freindly, but when I asked, the manager's mood turned from "happy to see you" :Dto smarmy and defensive.
Reason: It would attract too much attention.
(Lame.)

Does allow:

1.) Shoeless Joe's. Higgins and Mannheim. Rosemont. Very cool about it! Large place. Lots of T.V.'s. Customers include everyone from construction workers to yuppies. Nice friendly staff. In fact, I think one of the managers vapes! :D

2.) Chili's. Mannheim. Rosemont. They were a little reluctant at first, but said it was O.k. if nobody complains :?:. However, there were families there, so I stealth vaped.

3.) Bill's Pizza and Pub North. Rt. 45. Thirdlake/Grayslake. Near College of Lake County. Reluctant at first, but were very cool about it.:thumb:

4.) Hair Apparent. Grand Avenue. Franklin Park. Been getting my haircut at this place for over 25 years. Marty and John are a trip!:)

5.) Birchwood Grill. Rt. 50(?). Kenosha, WI. The town/county will have a smoking ban in July 2010. In fact, I ran into another vaper there! They also have Texas hold em' and slots (real ones)!

6.) Docker's North (formerly Silver Eagle). Rt. 59 across from jewel. Antioch. Very cool about it!

Anybody have any more?
