I'm gonna give you credit for knowing how to adjust the airflow...that being said, and with a blizzard outside, you're likely not going to like what I have to say...It"s defective. I've got 5 of these tanks with no issues, but I can tell you that I found, who knows where, a video on someone taking one completely apart and it being a nightmare putting back together. Take it back... As a thought, do a you-tube search on that tank...a lot of info there.

I completely understand what you mean...I have the same issue with one of my Aspire Nautilus Minis also. It has nothing to do with which setting you are on...they are all slightly blocked by the metal piece inside.

I have 3 of them and all of a sudden I realized this one was not getting as much airflow as my others. After comparing it with my other aspire nautilus mini tanks that work fine, I saw the metal ring inside was up higher than the others ones, which is what was blocking all the airflows. It feels/looks as if the airflow holes are 80% blocked.

I don't know if this one is defective or just a knock-off, but it does look different than the others that have good airflow. Does anyone know anything about this?
