Let me ask a question that I think has been asked before, but would help me with understanding how CASAA works.

How are disagreements among members regarding mission, current objectives, handled?

Like let's say 3 current members take issue with what another member did regarding a vaping issue where that member chose to invoke the name of CASAA into their recent escapade. Would these 3 members feel free to speak to that member? Would they do so in a way that is known to other CASAA members? Would the results of that confrontation be something where ultimately rank in the organization determines who is right?

Perhaps there are other questions I could ask, but I think you understand what I'm getting at. As I don't always feel 100% in agreement with what I hear leadership of CASAA is up to, I just wonder how that might be handled if I am active member in the organization. And I perceive, currently, that CASAA members aren't all in full agreement with each other on all issues / actions. Yet, it still seems like one big happy family, and so I'm just curious how certain stuff plays out when/where there are disagreements, and passions are perhaps flaring.

Thanks for any and all replies!

I've personally met every member of the CASAA board, face to face at our 2 annual meetings. I don't believe that would occur but if it did I know they are all well educated and could come to some agreement to the satisfaction of everyone. I don't believe any of the CASAA board members would try to hide anything from the public nor do I believe they ever have (or ever tried). If I don't agree 100% I'll have my say and I know they will listen and explain the "why" and still keep on listening.

CASAA members are encouraged to participate as much as they can by the BOD. These people DO listen to everything we have to say and answer every question as best they can. I know of no other group of organized people like CASAA that are fighting for our rights to vape. I applaud every one of them. This is not something they are paid to do or spend their time doing, they do their unpaid jobs to help us keep our vaping rights.

"Passions flaring", you mentioned, not a chance that is definitely discouraged by the BOD. They have explained over and over why it's important not to become a "roaring tiger" (my quote, not theirs). Educate and keep a level head is most important to our cause, not adding fuel to a fire we're already trying to put out.

I'm a proud member of CASAA and forever thankful that they are fighting the BIG FIGHT for us! Vaping saved my life!

Aw, man. I never got cookies... all I got was the satisfaction and peace of mind that I was helping to lend credence to the only organization actively advocating for my rights as a vaper!

I never got cookies either. Hmmm don't think I ever got a free like, come to think of it....
