I would think that if you get a 501/eGO adapter for your mod, then you would be able to get that tank to work with your mod.

It would raise the 510 connector high enough where it would clear that outside collar.

Recently just got my mod and tank but it seems that my tank can't fit the mod that i have. Right mod, wrong tank issue. Thanks for recommending.. but i do believe that is for a bigger thread to a 510.. buying that it will fix the problem of the tank but then it wouldnt fit my mod as its a 510... just odered my uwell crown..

@jseah has a good option. I believe it can work. You could then cover the unused eGo threading with a beauty ring. Here's another picture.

Actually it would work. The bottom is a 510 pin which would screw into your mod. The top has a 510 thread in the center and the eGo thread on the outside, so it would work with both 510 and eGo threaded atomizers. So your tank would screw into the 510 in the center of the adapter, and the outside ring of your tank would cover the additional height added by the adapter.

Some mods comes with the adapter, some don't. I believe you could probably pick one up at you local B&M for anywhere from $3 to $5. If you order it from Fasttech, I think they only charge $1 or $2 for it, although you would need to wait 2-3 weeks to receive it in the mail.

...that is one weird connector with a few problems... it's not the Tesla, it's the Atomizer. Technically, if you look up the specs of the tank, I'm sure it says it's a 510 threaded atomzier, and the Tesla is a 510 threaded battery... So... it... well.. should work. But, that atomizer looks like it was designed to fit flush with a particular mod, so it added a beauty collar on the bottom connector.. which makes it impossible to fit on anything but that mod.

Go ahead and order your new atomizer... But what to do with the old one....
First, I'd check the inner diameter of the ring. If it 22mm, then it should fit on a standard tube mod. If it can, then that atomizer is still useable with an adapter.. one suggestion would be THIS

The second problem, is the fact that the threads are painted like the above.. that might cause a voltage drop.

It also might help if you link to where you got it so I know more of what it is. There might be a different base you can buy for the atomizer that allows it to fit standard devices.

I hope this helps some.

I've tried the Uwell Crown tank in my IPV 2 Mini and I keep getting a burnt hit taste from my coils. I have to remove the tank and drip juice directly on the coil to get it to stop that taste. I went through all the coils in the package in less than a week.

Sounds like there is either a leak in your not allowing proper wicking of the coil or your air hope may be too big/not small enough to get a tighter draw....again in order to get the proper juice follow or "wicking" to the coil.
