Hey gang,

Fell off the wagon for about a year. Got sick with the flu 3 weeks ago and didn't smoke so I decided to use the flu as a stepping stone. Haven't smoked in 2 weeks. Been tooting on my Ego-t, but have major issues with leaking. Plus my attys were pretty shot from sitting for a year with juice in them. So I have a Ego-c on the way from Ovale. Also ordered some of the soft tops for the tanks. How does the ego-c compare to the T? Will I have better luck with not leaking? Do the soft tops help? Will I get the dry/burnt hits that I get with the T? Last question, can I use my 1000 battery on the new ego-c?

Thanks!!

Q: How does the ego-c compare to the T?
A: Very similar devices, use a different atty system. C is easier to clean. Some people find the vapor/TH/flavor the same, some think C is better.

Q: Will I have better luck with not leaking?
A: With proper use, C shouldn't leak at all. You'll get some normal condensation in the cone, but that's about it. Unless you screw up tank caps, or have badly placed wick in the spike.

Q: Do the soft tops help?
A: Actually, you could have issues with soft caps. Plastic caps work great.

Q: Will I get the dry/burnt hits that I get with the T?
A: Depends on the usage. Very thick liquid, or strong inhales could give you dry hit.

Q: Last question, can I use my 1000 battery on the new ego-c?
A: Yes. You can also use same tanks.

Will I have better luck with not leaking?

The #1 tip for preventing leaks with eGo tanks is to use slow, soft drags when vaping. Smokers tend to take fast, hard drags in order to quickly get that nicotine hit but the suction created by that kind of dragging with eGo tanks results in more juice being pulled into the wick than the coil can vaporize. As a result, unvaporized juice builds up, eventually leading to leaking.

Will I get the dry/burnt hits that I get with the T?

As for avoiding dry/burnt hits, I wrote up some tips about that last night in another post that you may find helpful.

Congrats on quitting again, good luck and happy vaping! :)

I actually loved the tanks specially a type. I never had leaking problems myself. But my best friend uses one of mine when we're out and about. I think the leaking issues are due to the hard drags. I you take longer but less intense drags you actually don't have any leaking. I've also found that the soft caps help with type a &b. But plastic hard caps work better with new ego-c. Hope this helps
