There are so many Vapor shops popping up here in the Denver area that Im becoming a Snob and find myself very close minded about even going inside anymore. There are 9 total that I know of currently and it is good for our vaping community to get more awareness and people away from smoking. Out of these 9 shops there are 4 that I find exceptional in product knowledge and selection as well as great original juice flavors. These other 5 arent even close to the standards Ive come to expect and as I become aware of a new one I dont even give them a chance. Also there is a company that has been around the longest that I dont even consider because their prices are so far off the chart I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Am I becoming a Snob or do I simply just know better?

nope.....totally normal.....its happening here as well.......im in a military town and alot of shops are out there to make money and knowing soldiers will pay whatever to get it they still do it.....i walk in and see a pro tank for 30 bucks or a VAMO for 80 bucks and say ........you can get these online for way cheaper.........and the juice....well don't get me starting on the juice.....ive found one shop with good prices but the others are crazy....one shop tried to sell me some juice that was PG based for 15 bucks for a 10ML bottle......i laughed hysterically and walked out......

so no you're not alone but i do try and go in there and at least see what they are doing and talk crap when applicable......LOL

I have become a juice snob for sure. A few of Vape shops here, Austin Tx, make their own juice to order. As far I see, no steeping nothing just mix and a quick shake. Every time I got one had no idea why it never tasted like the tester. With a little more experience I get it now but why haven't they figured it out? Some places sell premixed, which I prefer but almost half mix their own. I wouldn't mind seeing less in store mixing and more premixed on the shelf. Saves time and ensures quality. That's what the juice is lacking, quality.
Of course there are the price gougers who mark up needed equipment 3-4xs cost and I will not pay more than something is worth ;)

I wish I had that problem. There are two vape shops in Chicago that I know of. One is near where I live and the other I'd really have to take a trek to get to. I've purchased from the one near my home twice but I can find any hardware much cheaper online and they only carry juice up to 18 mg for some reason and it's all in one size $12 bottles so that limits things a lot. Still it's good to know there is somewhere to go in a pinch.

We have one here in town and the closest one next to that is 35 miles away. So far I've been content with the one here in town. I don't really like any of their liquids but I applaud them for offering them. I like the fact that I can get stuff like Aro and Evod heads and clearos for about the same price as I would pay online with shipping included. A little cheaper in some cases because tax on the cheap stuff is cheaper than most shipping charges.

The owners are pretty friendly but we don't know each other by name which is OK with me. I like being able to walk out of there with the merchandise in my hand. I was pretty excited when I found out we had a vape shop in town and I'm still pretty happy about it.

once you find that true shop that has decent prices and nice people then its not bad to have somewhere to talk about vape stuff........the one in my area that i like sells juice for 4 bucks a 10ML and they do mix themselves.....but thats cool cause i take it home and cut it some more with VG and i don't mind steeping......LOL.....

Yah my 2 favorite shops make their own juice and have them premixed ready to go. I agree it does ensure quality and save time as well as steep for a little while. Most mix it in front of you which I feel is unprepared but they dont have the business the 2 other shops have.

Check out Vapor Search USA. There are a ton popping up in the suburbs.

All of a sudden, there are vape shops everywhere. I try to at least visit once to see what they have. I only revisit the ones that have something good to offer. I don't that is wrong. Shops that only sell beginner stuff don't do anything for me but there is a need for them.

However, I will not set foot in one that wants $125 for an MVP 2. It's a good idea to check for websites first before going there.

Been to a few locals in my area. One wasn't what I would call knowledgable. I think they just started it because they was vaping and thought they could give it a go. I could be wrong. They had decent prices, but not a big selection.

The closest one to me is pretty good. The owner was up to speed on everything and even had rda's and rba's and mechanical mods. He only sold the good high drain batteries and loved talking about vape stuff. A real winner with this one.

I think some people open a vape shop just to open a vape shop and some people really love vaping. Finding the right one is just like trying to find that great all day vape.

B&M's can be SO SHADY!!! Some are good- but a lot of bad ones looking to rope in new unsuspecting folks

One near me is selling juice for $10 for 10ml, and an iTaste MVP for **** $129 ***! Or, an eGo starter kit for $119!!!! INSANE prices.

But, locally AllAboutVapor is great- i just started going there and they have a large store, lots of folks who know their stuff, competitive prices to online deals for the most part. Great juice selection AND price, and they mix the juice right in front of you for your bottle. They are great.

St.Louis is becoming flooded with shops as well. Not so impressed with most, as their not informed about products they sell! I primarily use Carto tanks now, and a few don't seem to know what Cartomizers are??? Would love to spend cash locally, but mainly online for me. Never thought I was a snob, guess I am too!

Wonderful! No, you're simply experienced, have developed knowledge and your own tastes and preferences.
the thing is - you'll maybe find a B&M who cares enough about getting your business to cater to your needs?
It is called customer service..and getting harder to find. you're lucky to have choices however- I live where there is 1 B&M
over 100 miles away. that can really change how you buy. nice when something breaks, gets lost, or you have an instant craving
to have nearby options. it be better for the B&M shops to take the time to get to know you...your needs and choices!
Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays.
