Im Confused About Vitamin-E Acetate

Having been on that end of things once upon a time, I can say that we actually DID care about our relationship with our customers, and the quality of our products. (at least the people that I dealt with at any rate)
The nature of the business doesn't exactly draw the most ethical people, but there are a few.
I am sure there are some. The ratio is a bit unpleasant.
I forget that dude who wrote that book on statistics that actually made sense discussing how statistically, a young back man from the inner city was about as likely to wind up in the NBA as a "wealthy" drug dealer, and far less likely to be killed.
I lived and worked in East Baltimore, it wasn't the most ethical of environments. Don't get me wrong I LOVED it and got sober there, but ethics never seemed high on the list. I also worked for Hopkin's Drug dependency outpatient program, ethics really weren't....
LOL I think my favorite "eye opening" discussion was the guys discussing their "big girls" one day in group. I was like (as every time I picked up some new, dreadful street term) "What might that MEAN gentlemen?"
They explained they were the fat women each one of them adopted and nurtured in return for stuff and money and etc.
I pointed out they were not advancing the cause of manhood,. I think the term "male prostitute" got thrown around a bit by me. They did not care for that. They explained that the relationship was consensual and the "big girls" just wanted to do things for them like give them money. To which I replied, "Yeah, just like prostitutes and their marks." I really wish I had the song "Fat bottomed girls" like to play in that instant if only for MY edification. Heh..
Yeah though I been on the suburban HS getting decent drugs route too. I am not suggesting any and all dealers like, deliberately poison their clients but some of them just do not give two PENNIES to rub together. Etc.

I am amazed everyone is so quick to believe this total load of crap being pushed to the world from the cdc. Explain to me why some black market dealer would pay for a thickening agent that cost more then vg or pg? This is a total scare tactic to further raise the price of thc. It already is the cost of what black markets were in the legal states. Explain why there are legal growers of cannabis in legal states an it is being sold for the same price it was sold for when it was illegal. No one with any rational thought would believe someone selling the same product on the black market is going to pay for an additive that cost more an add it to a vape product. There is literally no posted evidence anywhere stating the ppm of these so called samples. In Michigan they recently attempted to outlaw all vape products an now are going after legal thc products as it goes to sale recreational in a few days. Testing for legal cannabis is already $400-475 a sample. This is another media scare tactic identical to ...... madness intended to Prevent recreational users from obtaining an using the product. Until some hard evidence is released an confirmed don’t fall for these governmental attempts to further raise the price an prevent the people from obtaining what they voted to have.
I'm guessing you didn't read the article I linked @Golden juice ? The black marketeers are making big money off of cut THC oil because they can make what would have originally been one cart's worth into more. They thin down the THC, and then because purchasers use the bubble test to try and see if the product is pure, they thicken it back up with Honey Cut or one of it's imitators. Outside the CDC, some carts have tested cut by as much as 80% and the THC content extremely low or even non-existent.

I realize it's not EVERYONE'S PET TOPIC and etc. but my KID who is a MMJ user, actually had NO CLUE. He was all like see, it's the bad nic juice manufacturers and I was like YOU SMOKE MJ 24/7 YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW? Fortunately, when told, he backed down.
It is a testament to the tragedy of the media that ALL people EVERYWHERE don't know by NOW. IT MATTERS or more people will DO IT. By that I mean die. I know I should just cite Darwin and have gratitude but I DON'T.
That is not due to the dead person but due to the fact BOTH types of vaping have IMMENSE value for treatment and for harm reduction and it is THEY that are injured, not just dead buyer of illegal cartomizer.

The fact is that Michigan licensed labs have not tested for Vitamin E Acetate don't yet have an effective method for identifying it. Until they do so and get state approval, no cartridges in Michigan dispensaries can be tested or sold. Cartridge manufacturers had not been required to test for it or reveal the ingredients previously, a weakness in Michigan's regulations that's finally being addressed. Without any proof other than manufacturers claims it makes sense to me that for general public safety they took this step.
Each state has it's own level of regulation and testing. The legally sold cartridges in Michigan will begin getting tested for this dangerous additive, whose viscosity and clarity matched up perfectly with the appearance of the concentrate. Anybody that uses them when they are back on the market should have a tested, safer product. Much better than the promise of a sales rep with no ingredients listed.
