I have been vaping about 5 months now. After a month I switched from the mini to a penstyle. All is good, but 4 months later I am still using the same atomizer (same 2 since I rotate 2 penstyles). Keep hearing of atomizers dying and wonder when mine will.
After 2 months I noticed the throat hit was not as good, thought I need a higher nic. juice (maybe I had become used to the 18mg.) Of course I buy the 24mg, then on to the 36mg.
Now, not seeming to get the throat hit (except first thing in the morning)but get alot of vapor...so I am still thinking with this vapor my atomizer must still be good.
Not sure why, I decide to use a new atomizer (since hearing they die so easily I bought a bunch of back ups).
I put on the new atomizer and.......well needless to say I am right now using 6mg nic. juice and am vaping less then half of what I was yesterday.
So......is this common, that the atomizer still produces vapor but is not really working.
What do I do to the old atomizer to make it back like the new one or just chuck it?
