    This isnt a new idea.
Little backstory, and what gear they use\used.
One manages to quit smoking while using ecig, but fall back as soon a excuse pops up. It could be 1 month or even more. Persons last complaint was stomach issues because of the juice. I have no idea if jiuce can cause this. I dont think its pg\vg related. Is there anyone that had experienced this?

The other use ecig and smokes. Im not sure if there is anything that can make this person to stop smoking. But, still stuck og the old ego type battery and what i would call outdated gear. This person is really bonded to the smoke, and dont have any plans quiting. Still, better gear, less smoking maybe. This person likes menthol cigs, so. If there is any juice that is great at mimicking this taste, give me a shout. She says she dosent like the menthol tastes she tried in ejuice.
Both use and have used the old style ego batteries, with tanks that works with this setup.

Im considering buying something a but more up to date, even tho these batteries and tanks works ok. Newer tech is better.
I looked at a couple packs, and it can be to fancy or difficult to use. No rta etc, it have to work well. But not be complicated, rta and such isnt a option.
Both persons are moth to lung vapors, one is probably not wanting to use something "fancy" looking mod because of what other may think....

Iv looked at something likejoyetech ego AIO, but im not sure. E belive it would be a nice upgrade from the old type of ego, but im not a huge fan of not beeing able to change tank.
So, i could really use some input etc.

There are a fair number of penstyle starter kits that might work, like the Ijoy exceed, etc., if you want something a little more substantial but still easy you could look at the Pico 25 with the Melo II tank, or the aspire zelos 50 watt mod with the Nautilus 2 as a topper. Both are internal battery setups, not supremely expensive, and there is some variety in coil type.

Good luck with whatever you decide. :)

    Will check it out.
I must say. I dont and cant use to much money. Im not rich. Hehe.
But i rekond, it dosent take much to beat the old style ego batteries these days.
EDIT: Pico 25 is a bit pricy here. My max is about 50usd. Would like to stay under it, considering buying from gearbest or something and keep it under 43usd so i dont have to pay 25+ tax and customs etc..

From my own experience with helping 9 people to switch from smoking to vaping so far...THEY have to want to, in order for it to work. I'd hate for you to spend your time considering and choosing what might be right for each of them, then spending your own money on some set-ups, and then have them not really wanting to switch. IMO, it's better to talk with them first, before you do anything else about it.

ETA: It IS definitely possible for someone to get off the smokes and on to vaping using nothing more modern than eGo batteries and clearomizers. I switched using a JoyeTech 510 Double Starter Kit (small ciggy sized 280-350mAh batteries, a shorty atomizer for each, and foam filled cartridges). It was popular even before eGo batteries were! Also, that kit worked for me even though I'd smoked 1 - 1 1/2 packs a day for 42+ years!

I know, thats why i dont wanna use that much. I dont know what else to get them, and its worth the try.
I belive one member can do it, legal juice would make thing easier for him if he has some reactions because of some additives. Its not pg\vg reaction. If the juice even is to blame. Nicotine juice will be legal 2018, because of the rules i hate. EU's tpd or what its called....
Dont think person number 2 will stop smoking. But if a better gear could make hear reduce the smoking is a plus in my book, and just maybe it could increase the chance of quiting a bit if she gets better gear. If someone knows about a aroma\juice thats great replacement or mimics menthol cigarettes i would consider dropping buying hardware, and just get a bottle of juice.
So, wanna keep it arround the pricerange the set i talked about costs. I would think its better than the old ego style, and easy to use.
    :)

The person that still smokes use ecig every day, allways having issues with low quality battery\tank. Like copy batteries that cost little, and cheap tanks.
So, i think hardware thats just ok on the scale would be a wow experience for here.
Person number 2, plans to use ecigs again. Nicotine juice will be legal next year, situation as of now is that we have to order form uk, etc. This is one reason i stopped ecig last time.
So, i dont think its that shady. Or, is it. May read all of the mess i typed before answering. Hehe :)

Anyone tried the joyetech aio, or similar?

I tried a solution but it's messy. It works 99% but it requires you buy a cigarette making machine, premade cigarette tubes with filters, some loose tobacco and a trip to a horse farm for some horse poop (dog poop wont work, it keeps the smell even dry). Once you've dried the horse poop thoroughly, make a few cigs out of the flaked poop and tobacco, slip them into their packs. Then it's time to make a cocktail, sit back, relax and watch them quit smoking nearly instantly when they light up. Be there to offer them a tasty vape when they get done choking and gagging. It works 99 times out of 100. Don't get discouraged by that one guy, he may, like my guy, become addicted. You can't save everyone but you can profit from them. I told him it was a unique, very rare and expensive blend of Turkish tobacco I used to make his cigarettes. I've sold him enough horse poop cigarettes to buy a new motorcycle, so...ya know...win/win.

FYI, I've tried and given away two AIO's to people. Both quit smoking. It's a good way to go, it's just not as hysterical as watching your friend smoke horse poop.

Oh my, don't know what to make of the horse poop solution :lol:. I'm not sure that would have deterred me from smoking, but thankfully, I will never know.

How much do you charge for horse poop cigarettes? I could use some additional work from home income.

<<<<< Ummm...I know a great source for horse poop. And when it's dried out, like you'd need it to be...it's very lightweight, so the shipping cost would be less! :D

Anecdotal information- A friend at work saw me vaping for a year or so and he wanted to quit smoking. He successfully used an AIO kit to quit. It looked like the Joyetech but might have been something very similar.

    Good Luck

I've gotten a couple of friends (mostly) quit off cigarettes with the iCare 140 pens. The husband is ready to step up to an external battery mod; I'm getting him a Pico with a T22 tank. The T22 starter kit would be a great option.

My friend still smokes even though he vapes and he uses a DL setup. I had this brainstorm that I can get him to quit smoking if not only he has a DL setup but a mtl setup too. So I installed a fresh coil on my spare nautilus 2 and gave him 18mg juice along with the AL85 to borrow for a month. I checked in with him every few days to see if he's still smoking and he was. He didn't even cut down on the amount smokes he was having. Then he was telling me he's going on this big fishing trip and he's going to bring two packs of smokes. My initial thought was I just hooked him up with a great setup to borrow and why is he still stuck on smokes and not just vaping when he gets the urge to smoke. Then what occurred to me is like other people have said. A person who quits smoking has it coming from within, a drive that they created or formed and that they don't let it go. They had enough and nothing will get in their way. But just giving a smoker equipment will not be a solution in general. They need to be ready to quit. Even then it won't surely work.

Yep, the ages old saying "you can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink" is a good analogy for this situation. We can help and advise but the desire to quit has to come from the one that smokes. One must have at least a little bit of "want to quit" and a willingness to give it their best shot.

Could not agree more. The lovely Ms CMD will not quit. I no longer say anything about it but leave a JAC on her table filled with frequently re-freshed juice. One day...

My husband won't either. His 54th birthday is coming up and I'm giving him the mech mod I got then. He will likely be rather upset, but he's still getting it. He's 10 years older and I really do NOT wish him to die before me and the way he is smoking now-- a pretend quit I call it--is so unhealthy, (rollies). It sucks.

I would like to "like" this post but, being somewhat similarly situated, I understand, sympathize and cannot.

I am in the same boat as y'all with my hubby :( I never push him (out loud) but am there whenever he brings it up. I think some folks are just destined to never make the switch. A couple of my neighbors are amazed that it worked for me because it didn't for them. I think it could have had they really really wanted it to. I would be thrilled to help them but they have to come to me. So far they haven't even though I offered.
