Aw thePOXcrew I don't mean to lol...but I SO feel your pain. When I first started out it was with a MALL unit...801. I had so many frustrations and twice ended up smoking analogs. I felt SO SO frustrated and like the ... so much too! Now it's been quite a while and it's like 2nd nature to me. I am still vapin away on the mall units, although way overpriced they have held up, minus one battery. But I also have a 510. I use the 801 when I'm sitting around "chain vaping" and the 510 when I feel I need an "analog hit".
My main point here is that i went through that same frustration at first. It's a defeated feeling when you pick up an analog again. Keep asking, keep trying. It's so worth it once the choppy waters smooth out!

I'm quite new here, and I've gotta say, from all the reading I've done, the one thing I've come away with is:

Have lots of spares.

It seems like more than the type of ecig you get, where you get it from, what juice you use, whether it's auto or manual, or any of the rest, the most important factor in getting on well with ecigs is having a massive collection of extra bits.

I wonder how many folks we lose every month to failures in 2 battery 1-2 atomizer starter kits?

I have to give props to something I read in the Tips and Tricks forum for attys, cause it worked for me.

First, blow out your attys as best you can. Then, soak them in cola (I used Diet Dr Pepper) for about an hour, rinse them with water, and let them dry for a bit. Then, prime em with a few drops, and see what happens. For me, and lots of others, this method of cleaning brought back my nearly dead atty. It now puffs out vapor like its big brother.

I used to have all these kind of problems too with pen styles and mini's(2 stater kits).
The battery's seemed like junk, I have several dead ones laying around.
The price on the battery's for these devices are crazy for the fact that they fail so often. The mini battery's seemed to take out my atomizer's fast also.

Then I woke up and bought a battery mod(Screw Driver)and all has been good since.
The initial investment on the battery mods may seem expensive but they are well worth it. If I were using the mini battery's for this long I would have spent tons of cash on battery's. My atomizers last forever now and I am not always charging F***ing battery's. The Screw Driver works so well that it made me jump in on the Adaptever also when Whatever was first building them(I got #6 Yay!)lol. I just couldn't make it on the kits I bought with the auto battery's, so it caused me to smoke analogs :(
Since I'm an e-cig addict now, I have decided to get a 510 kit with 2 manual batt's with my last order of e-liquid. I hope to get the 510 insert for the Adaptever and test if the manual mini batt's are a feasible solution for me, not factoring in the run time because obviously the battery mods kill mini batt's.

Point being don't give up man! I am so happy I have not had a cig in as long as I have.
Once you get a solution that works for you these things change your life. I can smell stuff that I could not even detect before, and my lungs feel better as far as I can tell.
I can take really deep lung fulls of air nowadays without coughing up a lung LOL. I am also saving tons of cash on e-liquid/parts compared to analogs. I order in bulk when possible as close to direct as I can on atomizers, carts, and juice.

OK
With sensitive auto batteries, drip one drop on the atty and connect a loaded cart before screwing it to the battery. No dry burn that way. Maybe even wipe the bottom of the atty after in case you over filled so no juice leaks into the battery.
my autobatt turned on when i was screwing it on smartypants.:D

just like any other day, i took my dog to my backyard so he could ****. and i take out my titan out and start vaping w/ a charged batt, and i take a drag and thares almost no vapor, btw i just topped it off.
so im like wtf. i use my other batt and it is still ****ed. i blew out most of the e liquid of the atty and stood it on top of a paper towel.
24 hrs later i get the dry atty, i screw on the auto batt and ... it turns on, in an instant i knew/smelled my atty was burned, i take out my virgin atty and drip 2 drops on i w/ a topped cart and charged batt, take a hit and this atty gets fryed too.

casuslties:
flooded auto batt.
2 burned attys.
2ml of tw eliquid

im about to give up on this whole e cig thing.

Why don't you just claim your warranty?

Well, then your problem has been solved long ago.
:)

Lesson learned - don't drip with the Titan autobatts. They will stick on, and if you don't unscrew the batts ultrafast, you can easily lose an atty.

thePOXcrew, I understand your frustration...I really do. In the time that I've been vaping I've had about 5 or 6 days from hell with my VX2, and was about ready to grab an analog. Heck, I've got three whole cartons of Virginia Slims still sitting around.

But then I'd look at that 118mm long stick and think, am I really going to let you get the best of me? Am I really going to throw away all the money I've invested in this and go back to paying $9.40 a day to smoke something that makes me a social leper?

Instead, I'd come back to the board and search for advice from the real pros. I was always able to get that stick to work again or knew what to count as loss and replace. And I'll be darned if I will ever let it beat me. Plus, I keep a lot of spares and always will (unless the FDA shuts off our suppliers), because I'm not going to be a leper again.

Stick with it...not for us...for you. Good luck!

Jan

There is a msg on the Heavens goift Ruyan direct site that suggest blowing out the atty, dripping a couple of drops of alcohol into it and rinsing with distilled water... blow out again let dry drip a couple drops of juice (with the auto I would do it off the batt), then vape away. I have cleaned mine like this and got rid of the taste.
