Hey all.

I'm on week 3 and do not miss analogs at all. I would like to keep it that way, but I can't seem to keep anything going. I have an ego t and love it... When it works. I have been through 6 atties in 3 weeks and one day. Is that normal? I also got a giantomizer today and liked it at first and now I leaks after two hits into my mouth. My ego tanks are good, but after about 5 hits I get the burnt nasty taste.

I found two flavors I really like, menthol and vanilla. Funny but I never liked analog menthols...

What I would love is a setup that can handle heavy use I guess. Do I need a mod with a big tank?like map tank?

Please help me....again

Thanks everyone!!!

I would suggest two things: The 5 volt GLV2 - one of the best better battery models on the market and comes with a lifetime warranty. You will definitely get warmer vapor and more consistency. Secondly, some of the larger cartomizers (dual coil or regular) that holds about 1.5+ml's of liquid - they do not leak and you can go quite a while before needing to top off:

seems like your not letting your ego t attys wick right... possible causes are drawing to hard, chain vaping without a break, liquid too thick not gonna wick right , little plastic hanging chad on end of tank blocking the liquid from flowing properly...

if your giantomizer is leaking in your mouth , you have either overfilled it, didnt let the juice settle, or you are drawing way to hard...

map tanks and the tank mods are hit or miss..

I'd suggest getting something less exotic than a map tank for now. Sounds like you need a simple, reliable setup you can count on while you experiment with more complicated equipment. Standard 510 atty or Boge cartos, maybe both, and a drip tip would work. Standard resistance tends to be more forgiving, but if you want stronger hits, LR might be a better choice. I wouldn't go below 1.8 - 2.0 ohms though.

I had a super frustrating time with my Ego-T initially as well (Type A tanks, leaking everywhere, ugh) after my first week with it.

What changed it all for me was getting some Boge Low Resistance Cartomizers (they're ~2.2ohms, which compared to some dual coils and such now isn't really that low). Completely changed my vaping experience. :) They're <$10 for 5 from any number of vendors, and solved all of my leaking, dry hits, spilling everywhere, etc, issues. Seems like it's worth trying.

This is exactly what i was thinking. A lot of people have this problem because they are trying to hit it like an analog and the tank system doesnt work so well hitting it like that.

There's only so much you can blame on user error with tanks. They have problems, serious problems for a lot of people. And they aren't exactly giving them away or doing much to solve all the problems people have. In fact, when I bought my tank and tank atty the suppliers offered a warranty. None do now so that ought to tell you something. It is true that you have to take light hits.

IMO best vape

1. CCV 1.7 Resurecctor
2. Boge 2.0 carto
3. xl dual coil carto
4. echo-e carto
5. EMDCC

All 5 are very good. The EMDCC loses some points because I think it has a harder draw and is sort of funny looking. But it is good and you get a good vape. Can't beat how much juice the echo-e and EMDCC hold.

I'm quite fond of the echo-e cartomizers. As mentioned above, they hold a veritable ocean of eliquid, are rather unfussy to use, seem to be bulletproof and are easy to clean successfully. Yeah, they're a bit pricey at around $5.00 each, but the recyclability makes up for that.

Do you know if I can use the echo-e on a vv? I ordered an ego vv and wonder if I can use the echo-e cartos on it.

I had the ego-T with the type A atomizer and wasn't very happy with it. I tired the type B atomizers and there is a huge difference They just seem to vape better and I don't have to draw hard on it at all The type B atomizers will work with the batteries you have now I would suggest that you get a couple and try them out and see if that makes a difference

Asked swedishfish,

Do you know if I can use the echo-e on a vv? I ordered an ego vv and wonder if I can use the echo-e cartos on it.

Looking at pictures of the ego VV, it seems there wouldn't be a problem fitting echo-e's to it.

Hopefully someone who has both ego VV's and echo-e's will wander past and chime in.

I got annoyed with atomizers. Now I mostly use cartomizers. Every carto is a fresh atomizer. They have limited lives (I get 1 to 1.5 weeks use out of a Boge cartomizer (I use thin juices, 20% VG or less, and avoid any juices that drop a lot of carto-clogging sediment which also clogs attys). I just use attys to occasionally drip a few thicker juices I like and a couple of juices that didn't earn cartos, and to test new juices.

its always the newbies getting all sort of problem with their kits..mind U I was once a newbie too..but maybe i am different to most of them..as i do from the beginning follow religiously what the experts do here..i watch countless videos but Scot Bonner is my mentor..he does all the right moves and gives his unbiased opinions on the kits he reviews.

cases of leaking, burnt out atties etc etc..only happen if U dont follow the instruction to the "T" and any new ways to curb from happening,as mentioned by every1 here with advises..if it ain't broke, dont fix it..if its than trace back what U done is wrong and amend.

i listen and learn and stick to what works and dont, thro trials and errors..but will only use the methods that really proven and do work..I adopted quite a few and stick to them, like using a syringe to filled my tank, rotate all my 3 e-cig(510T & Ego T) and only need 10 mins daily maintenance,to clean, swapped & filled..only if my atties are choked..i will clean those with hot water & denture cleanser, overnight & leave to dry out for 2-3 days.

all my original atties/batteries still in operation, since Apr till now my 510T only thing i throw out is the cartridges and tanks that have served their purpose..but i do have backups..lastly whatever kit(s) U own treat it with TLC(tender loving care) & happy vaping every1..regards mafig
