I'm just sick and a word of caution to others regarding pyrex tips

I am absolutely in love with my purple hear woodvil, it is like vaping on a dream. The set up that works best for my pleasure is the 306 with a pyrex drip tip. I purchased my atty and tip from TheEcig.com (wonderful tips and super fast shipping).

I was pleasantly working away, and vaping at intervols at my desk this afternoon, when I reached across to grab something out of the printer. I knocked my woodvil over and my tip hit a lip on my horribly manufactured desk. Needless to say I was horrified to discover that the lip on the desk, caused my pyrex tip to break. I am not complaining, I know the glass is fragile, but I was beyond horror to think I might not be able to use my woodvil until a new tip arrived. Well I had ordered a spare about 4 days ago. So when I got home tonight she was here and waiting for me. I had concerns because the website says they match them to the attys when you purchase. I got lucky it fits quite well and now I have also a new atty to spare. I have since gone back on the website to order some more back up tips. I will make sure that I treat them all in a more than gentle fashion. But honestly I was not abusing the first one, this was truly a freak accident. I love this set up so I do not really want to look for something to change to. I suppose that I am still behind the learning curve when it comes to how fragile the tips are.

Hi Dragonvap :)
Ya...I was really unhappy a couple of weeks ago when I dropped my prototype 18490 on the ground. The pyrex tip appeared to be in one piece...but it wasnt. It had broken at the bottom. :( Good thing was that we ordered several so I have spares. Just bummed that I lost one. I had been using it for well over half a year, so I guess it was inevitable. I'm sorry to hear that yours broke too. Good thing you had one on its way. :) Back ups are important....for all our vaping gear.

Well since dragonvap is happy and off to bed it's my turn to whine. I just broke my first DT. Thankfully it wasn't a pyrex one but still, it was my fav. It was an acrylic vase shaped one. Fat & round at the bottom and small and round at the top. Anyway, it was always warm and felt good in my mouth. (let it go Karen) :p All I did was pull it out of a carto and the bottom stayed in the carto. Bummer! I have lots of cheapy extras but it was my fav.

Don't feel bad.... Last week, I had stuck my Mini in the small armrest / door handle opening of my truck while getting fuel. When I opened the door, the Mini fell out, and shattered my art glass Trippy Drip Tip. ($20.00) :( Lesson learned the hard way... Only delrin DT's while out driving...
Sorry to hear that Lee my Trippy are used ONLY while sitting in front of the TV. Nothing but cheap DTs when I'm out.

:( Sorry to hear that dragonvap -- I got a gorgeous glass DT as a gift and if anything ever happened to it I'd be inconsolable!
