I'm looking for a good bottom feeder

I've heard alot of good things about the phidias woodimus feedimus from nhaler and the ali'i from R&Rmanufacturing i'm torn....

The Phidias is a great option but I buy the current generation straight from Fono (check out the Phidias thread on the supplier's forum). The ones that Nhaler has were made by Fono but are not the current model. He no longer produces them for suppliers.

Both of those mods have great reputations, and the Ali'i is gorgeous.

But if it were me, I'd also look at the REO. The reason being that it's fully mechanical, which is a big plus for longevity and user serviceability.

Keeping in mind that I don't own any of these mods. I have tried an Ali'i though, and it performed great. Really nice feel to it.

But, any mod that's mechanical always gets a double take from me because it's just less likely to wind up in the shop.

You'll find fans of all three. The wetbox is also an option but the Phidias, Ali'i and REO usually come out on top. I avoid the REO b/c I don't want metal mods anymore. The Phidias and the Ali'i are my top two but I picked the Phidias as number one. Fono will build it to order in much less time than it takes to get an Ali'i and you get more options (except for variable voltage which the Ali'i has).
