I'm looking for a single coil kind of rta for flavor.

So I got this morph tank and I've been using it's rba deck... I'm not a fan of it. Made a nickel build, 10 wraps of ni200 28g= about .16 ohms and it is just tasteless. Even at higher wattages and higher temps, plenty of vapor, almost no flavor. Put a more narrow drip tip on it and tighted up the airflow and it was a little better but still almost no flavor.

I'm thinking about the lemo v2. I have the lemo drop v1 but I am going to be giving it to my father after I can find a decent rta. But the lemo drop has been giving me excellent warm flavor with a 1.6 ohm micro coil. 26g kanthal 3 mm id at about 22.5 watts as well as great vapor production.

I've also considered just getting another lemo v1 since I love the flavor I get from it.

Looked at reviews for the gem but it looks like it's juice channels are on the small side.

I want a 22-23 mm rta. Single coil kind of build deck. Air flow about equilivant to the Lemo v1 or the subtank mini. Going to be using it for nickel builds. I prefer to kind of keep the chamber small for better flavor production. I'm not sure how that will work with a nickel build but I imagine a smaller chamber and chimney will always give better flavor.

As far as top fill method or whatever, I really don't care as long as it's tooless and simple enough to do quickly without flooding the chamber and leaking all over my mod.

Since I'm going to be using nickel it needs to make a solid connection everytime.

I've looked at the goblin mini and... it looks like it's build deck designed for dual coils :c

Any suggestions?

Most single coil tanks have tightish airflow. Where do you have your Lemo Drop set? I have my air about half open. That might help me with advising you. You might just want another Lemo v1 :)

The Squape Reloaded has more deck choices these days and can be single or dual. I would call it a somewhat restricted lung hit on the largest setting.

The Rose v2 is my favorite tank for flavor, but airflow is on the tighter side. Deck is small for ni coils, although ti would be fine.

Gus Phenomenon Lite, or with the new Monumentus deck would also be great for flavor, but again, the deck is small and they aren't known for big lung hits.

The Erlkonigin has fantastic flavor and works well for tc. The 2mm positive pole holder gives it a little more airflow.

A good budget choice for flavor is the HCigar HC Plus, but airflow is on the tighter side.

I have an Ataman II running a ti build. But, tighter airflow.

The new Petar K Urba has a good amount of airflow but its a genny styled RTA. You can use cotton or rayon, but the tank is on the bottom. Great flavor though and I'm really enjoying it.

Flash e Vapor might be a great choice for you. You can run without the airscrew for a 4mm hole.

For me the Lemo Drop has much more pronounced flavor than the Lemo 2, however the topfill of the 2 is a much better solution for a quick top up. That said, the URBA by Petar K has the most amazing flavor of any tank I've used. It is relatively easy to build and wick, and has actually given me an appreciation for looser airflow (came from cartotanks, so I was used to a tighter draw).

I have my lemo drops air flow all the way open lol. It kinda feels like a restrictive lung hit. I love it. I just built a nickel coil in there and strangely it came out to a different res than when I made the same build on my morph tanks rba. 10 wraps of ni200 28g came out to 0.16 on my morph tank rba, on my lemo drop that same build I remade came out to 0.19 res. I made sure my screws were plenty tight and none of the coils were touching. This is strange lol.

But I like a some what restrictive lung hit.

The 3/100ths difference in resistance can easily be accounted for by length of leads, or one coil wrapped more tighly or even the 510 pin of the atty or mod :). Its normal. I have the same single and dual builds on several attys and a few hundredths difference is more common than having the resistance being exactly the same.

Liking a more open draw definitely throws some of my suggestions out the window.

I would say you're narrowed down to another Lemo, Taifun GT II, Urba or Flash e Vapor. The Urba is kind of finicky but it is very flavorful. However, if you're looking for quick to build, wick and fill the other three would be better choices. The SquapeR might suit you as well.

There are clones of some of those if you want a cheap test drive first before making a final decision. I won't tell you to buy or not buy them as that's up to you. The SqR seems to have eluded most of the cloners so if you decide to try a clone I suggest the EHPro. And apparently the new RS clones from SXK and Ivogo are working. I have a Hotcig Flash e a friend gave me and its pretty decent. Eventually I'll pick up an authentic.
