I'm looking to try something a little fancier

I'm new and currently vaping ecblend Caramel Macchiato, and good prophet apple pie, but I'd like to try some of the fancier flavors to see how much better they get. I wonder if I'm shopping too much toward the discount end of the spectrum, and just want to treat myself to something special. What are the most commonly recommended liquids are that I can buy?

I see a lot of vendor recommendations in this forum, and a number of individual flavor recommendations, but I haven't been able to find much of a trend in flavors (outside of pluid, which I can't seem to buy). I'm having trouble in that it seems that some highly recommended vendors seem to be out of stock, not excepting new customers, or have a bunch of flavors but no way for me to sort to the most popular. (looking at the best of 2012 thread)

I just need a point in the right direction.

I'm not much of a tobacco flavor fan, and have been sticking mostly with fruits and sweets, but I also wonder if there might be something more salty that I could try. Maybe chicken broth--does anybody make that? Also, from the start of my vaping up to now, I've had trouble with coughing (or at least a strong urge to cough) on each exhale. Are there any flavors that help with that?

On the coughing, back when I smoked I could only smoke cloves or I would do the same thing (but worse) so I may just have to live with that.

Chicken broth? :O I bet someone makes a e-juice like that but it never entered my mind to vape it. lol You should look at the list of savories that Juicy Vapors has. It's quite the surprising list.

As for fancy/ elegant I really want to try Alice in Vapeland. Their juice sound very complex and they have top notch packaging, the best thing is that they are very decently priced! Better prices then Juicy Vapor. https://aliceinvapeland.com/

The reason I keep going back to juicy is that they have the most flavors I have seen and for the most part they are dead on. Nothing special, but right on the mark. If you get one that doesn't hit the mark it is BAD. That being said you gotta try the ecto plasma. I didn't think it would be something I liked when I read the description, but I just had a taste last night and WOW... that is some good stuff. Juicy Vapor, LLC

Heck, I've seen bacon, pizza, roast beef, dill pickle and others. Wouldn't surprise me if someone has a chicken broth vape out there somewhere.

As far as coughing goes, I've had certain flavors make me cough. Strawberry anything makes me cough. Banana Nut Bread makes me cough, but I love it - tastes just like you just had a piece of banana nut bread.

Now I am thinking of vape flavors in a culinary aspect. I bet more flavors would taste a lot better and closer even to the real theing with a tinny bit of salt. If I were to DIY my ejuice... I bet I could make some bomb flavors. I am pretty good around the kitchen. I even thought of starting to cater on the side.

I hope you like Pluid. I was so excited to get it and HATED IT. Be warned: It melts anything plastic (don't forget your drip tip like I did!) and the taste will never, ever, EVER come out of whatever you put it in.

For high end juices I really love Ahlusion, but they won't be re-opening until after the new year. I also just tried some Vermillion River and everything was lovely.

Good luck on your quest!

I will say this now like I did before.... that scares the heck out of me. I will never try that juice.

I picked up a "leach proof plastic" device after reading that. We'll just see about that device's claim. I also grabbed it an aluminum tank in case they weren't so correct about it, but if I'm vaping something that's green, I sure don't want to hide it in aluminum.

It is a bit scary to think about that, especially the drip tip comment, but lots of juice flavors have been known to kill/eat plastic. I notice that pluid is often sold cut down 50% thinner, which makes me wonder if it doesn't just have a lot more flavoring in it than most juices.
