OK, many recipes run around 20% flavoring. If you use that, then 20% of your final product will be flavoring without nicotine, so your 24 mg will be cut to roughly 19 mg, which sounds like where you want to end up. Then you wouldn't have to add any more pg or vg. You can, of course, use less flavoring and end up with a higher nicotine level, or add the additional pg or vg to lower it. How much flavor you add depends on whether you're doing a simple one-flavor mix (then you'll usually have a lower level of flavoring) or a complex blend of flavorings. As Frenchfry said, check out the DIY forum, especially the TFA flavoring thread - there's a lot of really helpful people there who can give you much more detailed guidance. Good luck!

to ecf youngwhitedoe. Nice to meet you and so glad you are here. I currently vape 24mg nic juice and I love unflavored just as it is. Easy enough to add flavorings to it. Here is a calculator that will tell you what your nic level is in the juice when you add the flavoring.

Good luck to you and happy mixing.

i have a friend that just vapes with no flavor at all

Cheapest way to go for sure.

I'm sort of there, because the 1st year I spent so much $$ "chasing flavor" both buying eliquids as well as delivery devices to get that flavor. then, it occurred to me, why not get used to LESS flavor, so I set about doing that.

I vape unflavored most of the day, then my DIY I just flavor with 2-3 drops of flavoring in 20-30ml nic solution. Very weak, but that way I'm not frustrated by the flavor chasing anymore. :)
