I'm new and have few questions

I just got my DSE103 starter kit in from minicig.net and i have a couple questions about it.

How do I get a strong, full pull from it? I hit it like a normal cigarette but only get minimal amount of vapor...seems like its not hitting no where near as hard as it does in the videos, is there any kind of trick?

as for as the carts, ive been reading where you can refill your own? any links to describe this?

A lot of these questions have been covered in other threads but this forum is getting so big that it may take some time to find them all.

Refilling your own carts, do you mean dripping e-liquid on them? You can buy nicotine liquid from many suppliers, and of course it depends on where you are geographically. If you want a tutorial on dripping/refilling a cart, go see Dustin's video here:

as i continued, i watched dustin's thread, that pretty much summed up the idea of refilled, but what about getting a strong hit? I watched his drag techniques too, but mine still isn't hitting hard

draw, you really have to drag hard. It may help to prime it first. Take 2 or 3 quick, hard puffs, then drag on it.

he meant Hard Draw. As in you need to suck harder

From my understanding, hit is several factors and I've never tried a DSE 103. I believe Dustin has a video of it though, it's referred to as the supermini in some circles right?

lol, oh....but from what i gather it is a DSE103, the same mini that puresmoker sells......and seems like the harder i hit it the less it drags, and the harder i draw....the LED will go off.....

ok, so i just took it apart, and was scoping out the insides, the atomizer has a piece sticking out the back, looks like a piece of meshy (fine brillo pad) material....is that suppose to be there?

Yup...

Thats the steel wool wick that transfer liquid from the cartridge to the heating coil

Puresmoker sells a DSE 901b, called a mini
I think the DSE 103 is called a supermini?

leave the brillo alone!

Most models don't have an exposed atomizer but I believe the supermini does.

yea, i have the high carts....and im in the US, my exhales are barely producing anything....

I think he has some Marlboro flavor in higher strength.

think the cart could be on the dry side? i was reading if they sit up for a while (factory) they could dry out

Take the cart out and have a look at it
One thing I did by accident when I first started was to let my atomizer go dry.
It wasn't a very smart thing as the atomizer cooked itself. Now I top up my cart with nicotine liquid constantly so it doesn't happen.
