hi guys, i am 18 and i have just got into the world of cigar smoking, but unfortunately its winter, and my only place to smoke was in my back yard. i honestly dont think there is any way for me to smoke a real cigar all winter now, because of the cold montana winters. I don't smoke cigarettes, and i don't have any sort of tobacco addiction, so im just kinda seeing if there is any way to get the cigar taste without a real cigar. Im hoping that i can get a good e-cigar, and that i can find similar enjoyment out of that this winter, and possibly any times that i don't want to smell bad, or when i don't want to dedicate 2 hours to a cigar. i am part of a cigar forum, but when i mentioned e-cigars, those stuck up old guys pretty much kicked me off, and told me how if I knew anything at all, i would not even consider an alternative. you people here seem more friendly , so im signed up for this forum. so my biggest questions, are 1. is there anywhere on this forum where other cigar smokers talk about e-cigars, or is this whole forum for cigarette vapers? 2. based on what i am reading in the noob section, e-cigarettes dont, and cant taste anything like real cigarettes, but are good anyway because cigarette smokers' taste buds are shot. my taste buds arent shot, and i really want something to be as close as possible to a real cigar. is that going to be possible at all?
well thanks guys, im looking forward to getting responses from someone.

Welcome to the ECF. Some of the wider models like the eGos and some mods will feel an awful lot like a cigar. I often feel like I am holding a cigar when I use my Infinity. As for flavor, there are a lot of good cigar flavors out there, and some really give the cigar experience, especially on the exhale. I'm vaping some Goodejuice Acid Blondie right now that is very close to the real thing. I was never a real cigar lover, though, so take my opinion for what it's worth!

Welcome. This forum is for people who vape, cigar-look-a-likes, cigarette look-a-likes, pipe look-a-likes, and some that look-a-like nothing I've seen :). There are some models out there that actually look like a cigar, and you can find a flavor that is similar to ANYTHING. Check some of the vendors listed here and you can find whatever you like. You are as welcome here as everyone else who enjoys using personal vaporizers.

thank you very much for the quick response. i honestly have been researching this all day, and i have been having a really hard time finding much information on cigars, because everything is either european, or for cigarette vapers. so i had no clue that they made juice that was like real cigars, such as acid blondie! So, in your opinion, should i just take a leap of faith and purchase an e-cigar, and get some good juice for it, and hope i like it? i considered getting a disposable one, but im worried now that i could get a bad idea of e-cigars by using the flavors that a disposable one comes with, when i could get better ones and enjoy it more. and this is a real realy noobish question, but can juices like you are talking about, be used in any e-cigar? i have been looking at a few e-cigars online, but they show where you can buy other cartridges, and i though that maybe a person had to buy those cartridges from that company, rather than being able to refill with other flavors. thanks for taking the time to respond, i realize my questions are probably really simple, but don't worry,i will learn fast, and i'll stop asking questions as soon as i get the feeling people are being bothered.

hey, thanks for the warm welcoming, its nice, because some forums are surprisingly close, and when someone new wants in, people can get pretty hostile. thanks

Steffanan, I only just joined this forum last month but I find it distressing that you were basically booted out for asking questions on another forum. I have found that everybody here is soooo freaking awesome and will answer anything that they can. I have gotten so much help on here. I know nothing about e cigars, unfortunately, and it might be a pretty small population that knows anything about them but I have found that people on here are more than happy to help where they can. Welcome to the forum and i hope you get the answers you are looking for. And remember -- Google is your friend!

yeah, its too bad that cigarsmokers. com is that way, but naturally some cigar smokers are into class and money, so when i get on there and don't know something, they just hate it. Also, they are grammar police.!

So at risk of this becoming a thread hijack, does anyone know the ultimate e-cigar? In the cigar portion, so many people talk about the 701 and the 4062 and with them both at around 45 each, I wouldn't mind spending more if someone told me it was better. I'm pretty much fed up with trying to understand everything by research, and i want to just order something good, and see how it goes from there.

Well, it's not so much a cigar, but I have the eGo, it's about the size of a sharpie marker. Mine is the passthru, which you can plug into your computer, and use there, or unplug it and use it away, and you can get that for around $20, with the USB cord. It doesn't come with anything else, so you will have to get cartomizers, juice, anything else you want extra. I mix my own juices, so I don't worry about that, but you would have to get juice for it. And a cone if you want that (I haven't got one yet, but I'm going to with my next carto order, mostly for looks, but I hear it add to the draw).
