Im new here. Question about box mods

Hi there I'm new here just signed up but have been reading for a few months. I'm 3 months cigarette free. My current setup is a couple spinner 2 and anyvape peakomizer tanks. Looking to try out the atlantis and would need to upgrade my battery. My question is are there any atlantis compatible box mods that dont require individual batteries? I really like being able to throw my spinners onto the usb charger and would like something similar. I guess I'm worried about venting batteries with some stories I've read. Thanx for your help guys

VaporFi Vox 50 mod

I am not very knowledgeable on sub ohm'ing, but with a standard 510 connection, wouldn't it fit on any of the new high watt box mods? I am looking forward to the answers here, so I can learn something also. I have been using box mods for over a year and just love them. Good question, thanks.

To be quite honest I would recommend you wait for the istick 30watt to come out( if it isn't our already). It will be capable of handling the atlantis and look flush while doing so since they added that new little lip to the connecter on the istick to compensate for larger tanks hanging off the side. Same applies to the istick 50watt only if you want to upgrade later to a different setup, you will have the wattage to push it indefinitely with the 50 watt...however I don't see any casual vaper pushing anything past 30 watts on an istick.

If by 'individual batteries' you mean replaceable batteries, it is better to have replaceable batteries, because if your replaceable battery has a problem you can replace it, whereas if the battery inside your spinner or istick starts to vent or overheat, you can't take it out - you have to toss the whole device.

After about my 4th month of vaping one of my twists started smoking on me; drop it on the ground and watched it as it smoked away , feeling rather helpless; nothing I could do except wait and watch.

The e-lvt2 is a box mod with replaceable battery which you can charge by plugging into usb; there's also supposed to be the mvp3 but I'm not hearing much about it.

The battery venting stories you would be hearing about would be the simple unregulated 'mech mods'; there's lots of money to be made in selling shiny metal tubes by giving them fancy names

So if i read that clearly there are regulated box mods that have replaceable that can be charged while still in the box mod is that correct?? The reason I'm asking on here is because i walked into my local brick and mortar and i always walk out feeling like an idiot. There's one or two employees that are actually helpful and the rest just expect you to know everything.

What he said. But if you are looking for box without replaceable batteries you can go with a Hana Modz Mini V3 or V4, they are pricey though.

Most boxes 30W+ use single or dual 18650's, which is fantastic. 18650's are readily available, and good, high drain batteries can be had for 8-12 bucks each.

There's a lot of choices out there and some good deal on the web. All the local brick and mortar are way over priced for me, but if you have the cash and want it now that's a personal choice. A lot of these newer regulated mods have usb pass-through charging which is nice. Also most vendors will help out with questions, if they don't I take my business elsewhere.

Happy vapping

I own and would recommend an iStick 30 watt, it's small comfortable to hold, spring loaded 510 connector so all my toppers work easily, micro USB charge port and can be had for about $40....less with some of the sales, coupons, and specials flying around.

I had a lot of regulated and unregulated mods over the years, and this is as simple and plug & play as a spinner but with better output.
