I'm new, how about you?

Rather funny, I found this forum a year or so ago, and had no idea what it all meant. I have spent the last 10 years or so smoking cigars and hookas. Hookas, if you don't know, are messy as hell. Cigars burn if you drop them in your lap. Many many other disadvantages, such as difficulty finding shisha and coals.

Then, my wife wants to try an electronic cig. She was tired of the carpet burns, and she fell asleep smoking quite often.

Went thru two njoy's, a Fin starter kit (and up to 5 cartos in a day!). Fluid leaking out of the cartos, going dry, odd flavor. Thats just silly and spendy.

Buddy at work had been happily vaping a Provari w/ a Nova, and so I started looking around for a "real" PV. I found a local BnM selling eVods and CE4s, and haven't looked back yet.

Upgraded the eGo 650's to eVod 1100 and an 1100 Twist clone, CE4's to Protank II, and looking at buying my first mechanical (most likely the K101, seems to be cost effective and well rated enough to try).

I'm saving my spent heads planning on building my own, and scouring these forums intensely for related topics.

Thank you all for this trove of knowledge, and I hope to be able to share my experiances as I progress in my vaping adventures!

Welcome to the Forum. Glad you're taking the plunge into some good gear, and progressing in your VapeQuest. There are lots of good mechanicals out there in the $20 - $30 range. Suggest you also check out the Sigelei's at Exhale Vapors and VaporTekUSA. There's some quality issues on many mechanicals, let's say under the Sigelei price ranges. Bet you're loving the evod's, right? Anyway, good luck to you, power up and vape on!

My eVod works well (and the brushed silver looks good with the ProTank), and I really like the Twist clone (re-branded by the BnM "New Leaf" in Jacksonville Fl, so i don't truly know WHAT it is, but it works!)

I focused on the K100/101 first because its available for ~28 from discount vapors, my first online source I've used. I can get one at New Leaf, but they want 40! I want to Kick it (with the Smoketech Kick Clone) and use the supplied fuse. Discount does not currently have 18500's available so i'll be stuck with 18350's.(considering the overall length required for this setup), so I might as well look to multiple vendors. I don't like using multiple vendors, but it is what it is. Might be a good reason to branch out if I can get a Sig for ~30!
