Hey people. I used to smoke American spirits and was aching for a way to quit because everything I owned smelled like a campfire, but like a cigarette .... campfire, not the good kind. So I started vaping. Now years and years later I'm still vaping and I have definitely become a snob. Like I only have DNA boxes now, I only use certain tanks and certain juices. But anyway, that's a little about me. Hi.

Welcome to ECF, dubgtr . I smoked for about 32 years. The last 15 or so years of that was filled with Camel's and American Spirit Blacks and Black and Mild mini cigar's. I miss the ashes, smell, yellow finger tips, and TAR not one single bit!

Anyone recommend a quality desert like juice? Like smoky hazelnuts, or vanilla ice cream, or something cinnamon? I'm a huge fan of King's Crest juices and Casadaga

Sorry I can't help with retail juices. When I started vaping in 2012 I thought all the retail juices were horrible (as in sucked). Tried many. All were over-flavored and far too sweet. I got into DIY about a month into vaping. Been making my own ever since.

I've thought about that prospect, I just know its something I would get wayyy too involved in and it would consume my life for a while. I thought though that you cold only really make fruity type juices at home...where do you get the flavorings??

There are DIY flavors for any kind of juice that is sold via retail outlets. Retail juice makers use the same flavors DIY'ers do.

I purchase many from Bull City Flavors and a few other online flavor stores.

OMG that's awesome info. What about the Nic? Are you in the US?

Yes I am in the US. I'm stocked up on nic for life. Started stocking up on nic in 2015.

Here is a list of US nicotine suppliers.

Many on ECF are happy with Delosi (NicBase). I don't know what their nic is like. Mine is all Nude Nicotine Armor V2 (no longer sold by NN).

If you are in the US and decide to go the DIY route buying nic should be your first priority. Purchase as much as you can afford. No one knows how much longer nic will be available in the US.

Here is a calculator to help figure out how much nic you might need.

    They just became very expensive..
In 2014 when I quit smoking I was paying $6.00 a pack. A few years after that they were costing almost $8.50 a pack! I'm glad I quit when I did, shoulda been sooner though..
Feels good to stop something like smoking.
    It most certainly does!
