I'm new, went with Blu

Bert's 510 passthrough suggestion is right on. That's what I'm using as I type this, a 510 passthrough with a Volcano atty. The Volcano attys have a little bit taller bridge (the part that sticks out) and work a little better, but they do drain a cart a little faster.

I use both a Volcano (L88B, just like your Blu) and a Magma (510). Other than the chargers, all parts are mix and match. With the batteries, the big difference is the Magma(510) batteries last almost twice as long as the L88B batteries. The plus for the Blu/Volcano is a bit better flavor.

I'm using the tea bag pyrimid cart mod with my Blu. The carts are really small so you can make 2 out of one tea bag. You would be amazed at the vapor these things produce with this mod. My only complaint is that I've been vaping all day and now my tastebuds are fried. I can't taste the e-liquid at all. But after a night of rest I find they are all back to normal in the morning.

Haaaated the blu crap ecig. Got something else one week later and never looked back. Such a piece of crud. Just my opinion, I'm not in any "blu bashing club" I just realllly thought it was poorly made and it performed poorly as well. Not only that but I tried everything I could to get it to perform better as a last ditch effort to no avail. Oh well, I'm happy now with my screwdriver.

Oh and btw An L88B or volcano is a much better choice if you still want the blu design without all tje problems. It's not the model I have problems with. It's just blu.

That's interesting, Xanax. I thought the blu and the volcano were basically the same unit. How does the volcano function better than the blu?

I'm still so new, that I'm pretty overwhelmed with all the information I'm trying to absorb. I want to experiment with some of the suggestions to get my blu functioning better, but not sure what to try first.

Trying not to spend a ton of money on too many trial and error attempts. I need more study time!

normadesmondtutu: Blu and Volcano use the same model (L88), but Volcano orders slightly different batteries and atomizers. I haven't noticed any difference with the batteries, but their atomizers seem to generate slightly more vapor.

I love my Blu, personally. I wasn't entirely happy with it in stock configuration, but found an easy solution:

Order the M801 atomizers and cartridges from LiteCigUsa (I don't know who else has that specific model), and fill them yourself. If you drip two drops of liquid onto the atty bridge, I think you'll be very happy with the results.

I went with the volcano. I have never used anything else, and this feels like smoking a cigarette to me. I decided to do the blue foam mod, I bought some with my juice order, they offered 10pcs of blue foam for 0.75 so I couldnt pass it up. Smokes alot better. I dont feel the need to switch any time soon, if I do it will be for the magma. The volcano and pcc are great together. I couldnt be happier. The joye pccs look cheesy and dont hold as many things in them to keep me going all day like the volcano.

Thanks, media. When my blu is functioning well it is satisfying to me, so I think I don't need a total overall, just some tweaking. Yours and Arkady's advice sounds doable. Will research both a bit more.
