Efest batteries on the label reads 2500mah, 30amp, 3.7v. According to the guys ^ above me mentioned they are in fact 35amp discharge reading with 20 cells amp.

I'm now confused between amps and amp cells. I usually vape once in awhile as little as 0.25+ no lower with a 24-28 gauge wire. Experts, I need your help. I guess my full understanding isn't fully completed

the Efest batteries are actually re-wrapped LG cells, (cell = battery) with a rating of 20amps. So even though Efest states 35amps, that is more of a "pulse" rating than continuous discharge. I personally would err on the side of caution and NOT push these batteries past around 15 amps just to be safe...Efest is known to exaggerate their ratings to make them sound better....

I don't know why that guy says ICR when they are IMR's....

As jpcwon said above, Efest has a history of over-rating their battery specs. For example, the purple Efest 18650 2500mah batteries they advertise as being 35 amps, an independent reviewer showed this is a rewrapped LG18650HE2 battery which LG states is only a 20 amp continuous discharge rate. Efest Batteries

The purple Efest 18650 2100mah 30 amp battery is a rewrapped Sony 18650vtc4 2100mah 30 amp battery cell.

The market standard of evaluating batteries is to use the continuous discharge rate (in amps). Efest is using another spec called the maximum "pulse rating" for their battery, which is rather deceiving when comparing batteries made by other manufacturers.

There has been some confusion regarding whether the LG battery is an ICR or a IMR/hybrid. I've never heard of an ICR battery having more than 3 amps, so I choose to believe it is an IMR/hybrid chemistry. This means it is a safe chemistry, high drain battery.

Chipotle.
For what it's worth, I own two LG18650HE2's(purchased as the purple 2500mah Efest 35A). I have routinely built them down to as low as ~.20 ohms with no issues whatsoever, they are a high quality battery and they are rated for 20A continuous drain/35A pulse drain.

They are rated for a 35A burst over a span of 75 seconds(taken off the LG spec sheet). Efest didn't really exaggerate very much of anything, but they did omit the words "pulse rating" after the 35A on the battery wrapper which should be there IMO but to each their own. As I said, I own a pair of them and I couldn't be happier with their performance. If you keep the build around ~.30 ohms they give the VTC5 a run for its money in battery life, especially since the LG18650HE2 is ~$4 cheaper than the VTC5.
