Ever since i seen Scotts review, i just can't stop thinking about buying it lol!

I've always had a weak spot for things that are technical genius and when combined with it's stunning looks, who can resist?

I'm around £80 / £130 so far, so if anyone has one FS at that price give me a shout :) If not i'll be saving a little each week until the MHRA results come in -- if it's good news i'll take the plunge and purchase it.

Just wanted to say congrats the Imeo on the GG range, they're all stunning!

Keep up the good work ;)

I know exactly what ya mean....It is a beautiful device.

What makes it even more appealing to me, is that it was hand made by Imeo, and every little detail that go's into making it, it's just cool knowing Imeo put his time and effort and genius into these devices. And he used the best of the best material.

Another plus, when and if there is ever something that could be improved, he listens to his customers........customers become friends...friends become family...the GG family...

Oh yeah, Aaron are ya thirsty? vapnaway you got that kool-aid ready? LOL =)

Anyways, I hope ya decide to purchase a GG, you will not regret it.

Bristow, Ok.
That would be one hell of an advertisement for them....

I think it would be perfect. We need a new GG user just trying to quit smoking. The guy I heard about on the radio has a lot of followers from what I heard. One man even promised him a hundred dollars if he can stay quit for a year. :):):)

Ohh I just thought... My girlfriend works for CNN as a producer.. Maybe she could get one of the smoking anchors to give it a go... I would set them up with one of my GGTS' for the cause... I'll check and let you know what I can find out..

That would be amazing. The whole ban is just about money. I think the public needs to realize that. I believe this would help inform people.

Well I will need that GGT so that I can part with my GGTS for a while. Lol.

I think if you can get someone on CNN to give it a real try a donated GGT Storm would be in order. I am sure Imeo would be glad to do this. :):):)

Just make sure it is someone who wants to quit smoking.

Ok so a little update on the CNN deal as of today. I just got back from meeting with a possible GG user. It is a very "well" known anchor who is willing to give it a shot, but and I mean a big BUT, he is afraid that it will make CNN look bias towards e-cigs in general. Myself, my girlfriend and the possible test subject are looking into a few possibilities as to how to get this done and on the air without offending anyone or showing favoritism. If you have any ideas of a good way to pitch a story using a GG let me know by PM. I'll talk it over with the group and my girlfriend will pitch it if it's good enough. Just remember that this is a HUGE task and it could never come to terms.

OK, this sounds like a really great idea in theory, however, I need to point out one massive issue with it.

Here in the UK, we are busy trying to convince the MHRA and everyone else that these devices shouldn't be advertised as a smoking cessation tool - because the MHRA believe that they are and as such, they are treating a medical condition and therefore should be regulated as medicinal devices. This is the root of their argument and one we are trying to refute.

The only chance we have of defending our right to vape is to have it generally accepted as an alternative to recreational tobacco use rather than a method to quit tobacco use.

The distinction is a fine one and it ultimately may not help us anyway, since they are determined to knock it on the head so that the pharma companies can come out with their ineffective alternative to it.

However, for the time being, we all need to be clear on the way this needs to be represented.

"The GG helped me give up the cigs" is a better headline, yes, but ultimately, it doesn't help the cause at all, sadly.

"The GG Personal Vaporiser provides a full and satisfying alternative to cigs (without all the dangerous chemicals)" although sounds a lot weaker in some ways, is the only way we should actually be approaching this kind of publicity in the light of the way legislation is heading.

Having said all this, it will probably mean f* all as BP and BT will want to protect their revenues at any cost - but we're all trying to not give them any further ammunition aren't we?

I do agree with you Lisa and believe me if this is to make it on their program it will be combed over and over by tons of lawyers and other producers to make sure that the proper facts are presented. I have noticed that it seems every region of the world if fighting what seems to be different battles regarding the e-cig usage. Here the FDA is giving us crap like you are getting it in the UK but we are also fighting local legislators that are banning them due to sale to minors. As for the FDA all we can do is hope and pray I'm afraid...Maybe help inform them on personal feats due to e-cig use. And as for sales to minors.... That isn't the fault of the producers or many of the sellers that we know and use at all... This is due to some idiot running a mall kiosk that just wants to pad his wallet and doesn't care about anyone but himself. I'm afraid at this point we just have to pump as much positive and true information out there as possible or we all might be ordering crap from china soon... I just hope that everyone does what they can to prevent any bans. I love vaping and do not plan on quitting due to someone else. If I quit it will be on my terms just as it was when I put down analogs....

Forget E-cigs and cigarettes for a moment and show it as a special and particular fancy adulated vaping device that is conquering hearts and minds. (And lungs).
Start introducing the subject by some flashy funny title like "A Golden Greek in America".
Concentrate more on the device and the fun and pleasure, than on the debate about e-cigs Vs. cigarettes.
Keep it light and entertaining.

Mist I like your thinking. I hope that it can go in that direction. they are just so clouded with all of the other crap associated with them that I'm afraid that they will have to cover all aspects of them. When my girlfriend and I spoke with the potential "test subject" we referred to them as personal vaporizers and it seemed to go over a little better than the term e-cig. I hope that this all helps in the long run. I know that my girlfriend will kill the story if it in any way looks as if it will hurt our cause. She loves that I vape now and quit analogs... If the big tobacco and big pharma take that away I'm afraid that I'll be right back where I was last september before I found the wonderful world of vaping.
