I have my mind made up- I want a Reo! But that's all I've decided :)

For the life of me I can't decide whether or not I want the Mini or the Grand.

I have a Volcano Inferno that barely gets touched, and a Maxi Roughstack which I really love. I like the size and heft of it. It's easy to find in my purse. I LOVE the battery life.

So on the surface it seems like the Grand is the way to go because it's really an all day machine. But the flip side is that I already have an 18650 mod that I like- hmmm....maybe something smaller might be good. The Mini's seem cute- and I like cute.

I notice people saying "I got my first Reo today" and there are a lot of avatar pics of people who have a collection of them. So that leads me to think that maybe I should get both...it's not like I won't be able to find them a good home if I decide I don't love them.

Anyone have any thoughts or pros and cons on the two models?

I'll give you my own opinion on this as a new (1 day) reo owner. I wanted to get the mini simply because it's small and handy. After some people explained me everything and the differences between the 3 units I made the decision to get a Grand. Received it yesterday and let me tell you best choice I ever made.

Advantages for the Grand compared to the mini

A. you can vape at 6v which I think you cant with the mini
B. 6ml bottles instead of 3ml bottles with the mini
C. Bigger batteries=longer bat life
D. There is no price difference between mini and Grand so after reading A-C I say get a Grand.

I always thought the Grand is HUGE in size but after receiving it I honestly thought for 5mins I had a mini in my hands it is really super handy and small.

Get a Grand I have not tried the mini but just the fact that you can vape at 6v which I finally tried today and now I am sold its the best mod I ever had and size wise with the advantages the Grand brings it should be a easy decision.

Thank you all so much! The thread was really helpful, and your info is great! I do think that deep down I'll be happiest with a Grand. I'm really spoiled by the 18650 battery life which is what brought me to mods in the first place. I gave away my e-power because the battery life was just "meh" for me.

It's easier to stick with one battery system too...I do have batteries for whatever size I choose, but it's a bit easier if I just stay with the 18650's.

I don't think I'm quite brave enough to go to 6v- the 5v passthrough I had was a little too hot/scorched for me with the fruity VG juices I favor. I've been vaping on the Boge 2 ohm cartos, and they've been great- if I want it a little warmer I just throw a little water in the juice for some "sauna style" vaping :)

Here's a thread on this topic. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/181509-mini-grand.html

Either one is a good choice :)

I did end up going with a grand by default, I wasn't quick enough to grab a mini. I got it on Monday and batteries came on Tuesday, and I must say it was very weird going to bed last night without having to put any batteries on the charger or have to carry a bottle around with me everywhere I went to drip. I am very happy with it, but there are times when I wish I had gotten the mini, like for pocketability and discreetness. I just use my ego when its not convenient to use the grand, but I would like to grab a mini when I have the money for one. I always carry spares of everything with me when I go out so the battery life/capacity of a mini wouldn't be an inconvenience.
