All of my atties decided to die last night for my pen  I'm reduced to using my 901 which is like apples/oranges. I miss my pen darnit and it was only 10 days old! I tried a can of air, boiling...nothing, dead and they looked ok...no gunk, etc...

Also after spending about $700 in kits/juice in just a few weeks time, this sucks quite frankly...analogs were easier (no, I'm not going back) at the amount of money invested, I'd think I get more than 10 days...(also have had 2 DOA batteries too)

at least I have my 901's I guess.. *sigh*

ok, rant over, back to being bummed

Get your warranty replacements on their way. That really sucks.

I'm so happy so far with my 901 I don't even want to try anything else. Oh and sorry about your parts dying that sucks. I know it's gonna happen to all of us! I still don't think once we settle down and have some parts and are stocked with juice, with the increase in tobacco and taxes, that in the long haul e vaping is cheaper. It's just all so exciting at first!

One by one? What power source? (Could it the power source that's gone?) Or in a multiple bath (blown out then primed after?)? Sounds like amazingly bad luck.

Nope, different power sources (6 different battries including a UBS passthough)...not sure what happened. I popped in a a newly filled cart...nothing...tried a different attie...good to go.
Back to the other one, nothing. Read on here most of the day about cleaning, etc...then my 2nd attie still new in the box I didn't even try out yet...DOA. My fault for not trying it I guess. This morning actually, the 3 attie died...WTH

already emailed about replacements (yup, still under warranty thank god, but he's going to think me a mad woman!)...now to wait....

I don't suppose you have a multimeter ? If an atomiser is 'open-circuit' is truly dead.

I sympathise - for me same, when something goes I can't quite believe it and keep trying and trying this and that, till all hope is gone :(

It's not so much the cost as the hassle of waiting for new parts.

Still feel it's so odd all to go more or less at once. But since you tried different power sources what else could it be. I'm sure you put some juice in the cart ;) If it's any consolation, we have all been there, or will one day.

Shimmy, you said you tried boiling? Well, I hope, for your sake, that there is a possibilty you haven't given one or more of them enough of a chance to come back to life.

I recently tried the pepsi bath on a whole bunch of atomizers that had gotten really clogged. They've been sitting around drying for 2 days now.

Just now I tried the first one - and it surely seemed totally dead at first. Not even a hint of vapor, not any warmth either. But since I had heard they can take their time to come back to life after washing or boiling, I persisted.

After many puffs that resulted in nothing, I held in my manual switch for several really long periods of time, and finally saw some wisps! Eureka -several more puffs and the atomizer is getting more like normal all the time. Now it is working perfectly fine!

If you don't have a manual switch, it may take more hard puffing on your part to get yours to come alive if they are not really dead, but please do give it a try.

YVilla--that is the exact way to do it and could not be explained any better--we will be quoting your post--Thanks--Sun

I only boiled 2 of them...now all 3 are taking a coke bath...overnight.

I won't give up just yet (and yeah, I did drip on the coil too, didn't work... puffed my self dizzy) cold like a dead fish they are!....thank goodness I ordered extras from Steve the other night. I feel so lost without my pen...the 901 is doing it's job though...glad to have it and spare parts

Three of my atomizers died over the weekend!! This is too weird.

I've had them all about a month. Out of warranty. They are all 401 models. the first one that went got really hot then died. The other two just stopped working.

I did the hot water and drying. Nothing. I don't drip regularly, just when switching atomizers out to prime them. The look brand new, not gunky at all. I didn't try the soda thing.

I washed them again tonight and will try them again tomorrow. I did order some new ones yesterday and they are on their way.

I learned something new. Buy an atomizer every time I buy some juice. I should be well stocked up then.
