After 12 coils that all failed my left arm and hand has stopped. I was looking at the bottom and I think through twisting on and off and on etc. of the center post the reason they all failed was the atty's firing pin was screwed up too far. I'll try again later when my hand and arm return. I'm pretty close to just getting an RM2 or Igo l....FRUSTRATED!!!
I wonder how many times it would bounce when I throw it from my car on the freeway....:glare:

Give yourself some credit, building a dual setup is not that easy. Your first build actually looked pretty good.

"none" on some VV devices can mean your not touching the 510 plus pin. Am I getting this right that you had a too high reading . . . like 1.6 or something . . . . (like it was barely touching), and then you raised the Origen centerpost? So it was barely touching the MVP 510+ at 1.6Ω, and then it wasn't touching it the second time.

The 510+ is probably not springing all the way back up . .. . on the MVP. That can happen with mid-level regulated mods. I personally have never looked inside an MVP 510.

No, the mod is fine. On the atty, the center post which is what I replaced to make it bottom fed is not staying put. I works up away from any contact to a battery as I work the center pin screw bits to attach that leg of the coils. I tried it on my OliveR, tried it on my Reo, out of desperation tried it on my Stingray. Ripped the build out and made sure it was well down to connect and did two 30 gauge coils of 10 wraps each and on my ohm reader it read .62 ( )

I have done dual coils on my Castle, no problem. This??? It's a problem.

I'm going to trade it away as x-puppy said that Origens shine with lung hits and I'm a puffer so it won't be loved by me anyway!

I just don't like vertical coils. A lot of it is getting into the realms of artistry, whereas i am really just after the most brutal vape i can get as fast as possible. There are some atties i just know i'd not get on with.

I use 26g most of the time, because it stays where i wrap it (it's not springy) and 4 wraps with duals (2mm drill) gets me about 0.21-0.25Ω. Air holes wide open and sorted. 10 minutes, once every 2 weeks.

Rewick them and dry burn them? pfft. Too much faffing about.

Well kids I am striking out today.

First one of my employees set off the alarm at the shop building.
I get the call from the alarm company and promptly give them the wrong secret code.
So I got to meet the police first thing this morning.

Second I stuck my OliveR in the same pocket that my debit and credit cards were in.
Guess what?
Yep, couldn't get gas at the pump because it wouldn't read my cards.
It's something I concisely try to avoid due to the magnets but this time brain fart.

Third I just did a dry burn and rewick of my OliveR.
Twice.
Turns out that after you put a clean wick in and you squonk hit the fire button to wet it it goes up in flame.

Oh Mundy, I'm sorry. I think almost everyone had a bad day today. *HUGGLES*

You did prove my paranoia over the batteries as being valid, sorry it wiped your cards but thank you for showing me that I'm not nuts...

I'm open to suggestions, but i can wreck xc wick in days.

You say ceramic and i think porous ceramic, and that's too much squonking. I may yet give the rayon a bash, just for the wicking. Too bad for me that material science is interested in stopping stab wounds and bullets to bother with decent wicks!

Ditto. Keep getting dry hits on the Reo. Got a mod from the classies that seems to be DOA...still trying to sort that out. Ridiculous day running errands, like spent ten minutes at the PO behind an old man talking with the Postmaster about how he worked at the post office thirty years ago. We finally worked around him. He was still talking when I left. And my Dobie just bit at me again when I went to take him off the lead. I've tried everything to make it work with this dog. He's just too aggressive. My other dog is afraid to come into the room where he is. My cats now live in the basement. He's going to have to go.

Can't sleep.

In other news... Expensive drip tips and clumsy monkeys...

I have learned through extensive scientific testing... That acrylic-capped tips from driptipdesignz are engineered with a lifespan of four (yes, that is 4) dives off of a 4' dresser.

Likely more if they are not attached to a mod or falling tip-first

Took about 3 dives for my DiBi till the lip broke off
