Am I in the next run? I have this giddy feeling that my unborn mod may just be over the horizon. I'm getting morning sickness. I wake up and miss my OliveR... That I've never seen.

I'm waiting for some dropout confirmations for where we are exactly (or sufficient time passing with no reply).

. . . . . . . . :)

heya pete

it has come up in a few places whether being on the nuppin interest list affords one any luxuries beyond a notification email that you have more nuppins

all good either way, but the backing and forthing, without pete-consulting is getting old for me

Let me rephrase that question to better reflect the sentiment that I keep seeing in the threads. . . ..

"do people who filled out the questionnaire have first right of refusal?"

Technically: no.

Sentimentally: yes.

What I need to do is to translate that sentiment (of mine) into practical action. It is beyond impractical for me to initiate 125 personal PM/email conversations (with their average of 5-7 back an forth string of replies . . . . [math happens] . . . . so say ~400 personal letters in context of 125 personal dialogues) in order to achieve that. So, I'm brainstorming on how to devise a semi-automated or "impersonal" system that accommodates personal histories. I'm open to suggestions. I've had two half-baked trains of thought on this. . .. ..

(1) Same style announcement of availability/pricing/specs/options/ordering instructions as last time (a post in my Library); but with a clear notification that, for the first X# days, I will only invoice those whose order/PM username (or included email) matches with one on the list. (i.e. process only "list" people orders for a set period)

(2) Devise a system where I PM/email 125 people ONE TIME with all the necessary info for ordering somehow accessible only to them.

(and, just FYI, the reason I wrote this:

"This would be primarily to gauge interest in # atties "in demand" (as well as variations and accoutrements, y'all). It may be used as a reverse directory, so please treat it as you inviting me to notify you if atties become available; but don't treat it as establishing your right to ownership. (it is not a down payment, it is a wishlist)."

. . . is because it is against Forum rules for me to "cold call" members re: sale of my merchandise)

Option 1 would be easier for you, can the nice member who set up the interest thread help?
