I'm not to sure just how many drip tips that Fasttech sells but it's in the thousands.
Here is as close to what I want that they have but I want copper instead of brass.

Black instead of white would also be good.

there's no protectant on there (copper sleeve). If you don't want to go buy some kin'a polish, soaking in lemon juice (for 5-15 minutes) will do 90% of the work for you. You'll still need to do some rubbing tho. If you can get it chucked up in a drill and spin it, that works pretty good. Depending on how effective the lemon juice is, you'll need almost no abrasive. (the white, non-abrasive buffing pads might be enough . . . maybe). A lot of metal polishes contain some sort of protectant/additive; so if you want it to stay shiny, it might be worth getting some that states that on the label.

Thanks! I'll try polishing that sleeve up a bit.

On another note, are you running an o-ring with your Nuppin' on the Sumpin'? I find that it hits harder without that o-ring. I was just worried of potential long-term leakage or the risk of over-tightening without one.

not YOU soaking in lemon juice . . .

ERNEST soaking in lemon juice!

I guess vinegar would also work? :D

well, you won't overtighten unless you tighten it too much.

the o-ring under the atty can interfere, as it's hard to discern between "contact snugging" and "o-ring snugging". I usually put the atty on without an o-ring, and take a look at where it lands (rotation/position). However, without the o-ring, I can tell when I've made contact; so I don't snug it down as hard as I possibly can . .. . just contact, and then maybe a quarter turn. Then, when I put the o-ring under it, if it's not getting nearly as far "around the clock face" as without the ring, I know it's the ring giving me the resistance and not the metal-to-metal. (with the Nuppin', this is also . .. the dry fit . .. when I decide where my coils are going to lay out on the atty, and whether I'm winding coils with a right or left handed wind.)

Also, lately, if there's a call to make between a fatter or thinner o-ring, I'll go with the thinner until leakage proves me wrong.
