Hi! I'm new to vaping and have spent a lot of time reading the forums, thanks for all of the great information.

I have a 510 and some juice from myvaporstore. I am happy with
everything about them except I seem to be intolerant of some
component of the juice. I don't get itchy, or a sore throat, or
a sore chest or anything that I've seen mentioned as typical
symptoms of intolerance to PG...

I get a strong 'foggy-headed' feeling almost immediately. The only
other thing worth mentioning would be my eyeballs feel superdry
(makes them feel swollen--but I doubt they are, if you know what
I mean). I don't have allergies and I tolerate things quite well,
normally...

I know what nicotine withdrawal and overimbibing feel like and this
is not either. I've seen a couple of threads where people mentioned
a similar feeling, but not much in the way of follow-ups.

So, could any of you who have experienced this share any insight?
Thanks in advance! :)

Usually - when I feel those symptoms coming on - it means my wife is on her way home from the department store and I'm about to see the receipts. LOL

Seriously though... it sounds like you are actually getting a nicotine 'buzz'. That is to say it sounds like perhaps now that you are vaping, you are getting more nicotine than you are used to. You might try backing off a bit, or stepping down your nicotine mg just a bit and see how it goes. I know I dropped from 24 back down to 18 real fast when I tried it.

Take care,
- Hap

Wow, that was fast, thanks for the response Hap. I will entertain the possibility that
the nicotine level is too high and might exacerbate anything else that may be going on...

But I am getting these symptoms from one lightish puff. And no raciness or jitters that would be more typical of too much nicotine. I am a heavy smoker currently.

In any case any future orders will be for much lower nic strength since I can tell I will be more pleased with vaping for the fun and the flavors. Thanks again!

Boy - if the reaction is that fast, to that minimal of contact - that really sounds like an allergic reaction. I can't think of what else it could be aside from a nicotine buzz or an allergic reaction.

I would try the following things to eliminate what it is:

Try another juice. - Still happening? Try this:
Go to WalMart and pick up some Humco Glycerin in the Pharmacy / Health and Beauty Dept. - Blow out your atty very well. Rinse it out thoroughly and blow out thoroughly again and let dry. Try direct dripping just a drop or two of straight Glycerin.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I hope something lines out alright for ya!
Take care,
- Hap
