IMHO, don't think the two are mutually exclusive. I'd hope folks would've been following the recent FDA activities (CASAA), participating in the UPenn surveys and signing things like this. If we don't make ourselves heard, others will make decisions with out us...

I did fill out the U of Penn survey and I'll be commenting on the FDA report after I finish going through this thread thanking (liking) people for signing the petition. Thanks for your support!

Yeah, 18 months ago the threshold was 5,000 and we got over 6,000 signatures.
This time it's a 25,000 deal - hard but possible.

100,000 signatures? Government just don't want to deal with any petitions coming their way.
