I welcome anyone who wants to correct me here because I am fairly new to the world of Ecigs. That said, I have to say that I think once videos and information gets posted "out there" (in the world of never never land (aka internet), some of us see it as expert advice, even though the author may later make a new video with different info, or blogs get posted with updated into, etc. But we see the old stuff first and think that's still "ok".
So I thought this would be a good post to start and hope others add to it. This is what I've learned as "corrected info to what I originally saw/read" before purchasing my first ecig:
1. What I saw in a video:
"I charge my Volcano inferno overnight and it's ready in the morning."
What I learned from Volcano directly:
"Never charge your battery overnight, it begins charging, reaches a charge and then begins to discharge."
2. What I saw in a video:
"Manual batteries are sealed. Automatic batteries are not sealed and have a hole in them."
What I learned first hand:
My manual K808D-1 batteries were unsealed, with a hole in them leading to the battery even though they had manual buttons, therefore, the "condom filling cart video method" cost me 2 batteries which died after trying it.
3. Video, the condom cart method
My added notes:
Note, use only for unsealed batteries, again, see above. Note: not for use on INFERNO batteries.
Anyone else? What have you read/watched that maybe should be cleared up/expanded upon here? Once the videos are out there they get copied, embedded on other sites, etc., etc. and they are run away misinformation. Perhaps the confusion/answers are found herein this massive site, but newbies would not know where to look for same, so maybe take some time and post some good stuff here for all of us?
