Ran across mention of e-cig on a blog last week, and have been reading up on them since then.

I'm looking to replace the 1-1.5 pack/day of marlboro lights 100 that I currently smoke.

I work in a noisy environment, so a manual or 'draw' (suction) battery is necessary. I'd prefer something reasonably similar in size to a 'normal' 100mm cigarette, if possible. I'd also like to keep the cartidge changes / reloads to a minimum (say, 3-5 max).

From what I've read, it seems like the two best choices would be the M401/402 or the 510. Does that seem right to y'all?

Oh...and the distributor has to be able to bill / ship to military addresses (APO).

So...is this possible? Recommendations EXTREMELY welcome (soup to nuts - # of batts, carts, atomizers, liquids...everything).

Thanks!!

Mike

You'll probably need a manual battery for the noise, 10 to 20 carts to refill, a minimum 3 batts, and attys, and maybe a personal charging case. Also a couple bottles of juice.

I know the 510 has the pcc and manual batts, not sure on the 401, a 402 is just a smaller battery. The next step up would be a mod like, gg,sd or prodigy but they are larger and don't look like a cig, The battery life is excellent though

I have bought from eastmall, ruyan direct, the widow, electronic-stix and other may be getting the 510 in

I would recommended either the DPv9 (kr808d-1) from eastmall.net or a manual 510. The reason I suggest east mall is because they have great prices and the dpv9 kit comes with a case. If I put the tip of my dpv9 right next to my subwoofer it does activate, but with the case it's easy to take apart and store. Also the dpv9 carts last longer before having to refill than the 510 carts. With the Dpv9 you get almost as much vapor and more throat kick than the 510, but I don't believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong) there is a PCC for the kr808d-1 model. People have been saying it's hard to refill kr808d-1 carts but I've found it's really easy if you bite around the edge of the mouth piece and then get the top off with your fingernail in order to refill from the mouth piece end. It would be worth shooting an email to a few places like eastmall.net in order to see if they will ship to you. Hope this helps.

EDIT: I definitely wouldn't recommend a 401 since the batteries are really sensitive and you have to refill them VERY often.

I agree, I also have both of these and I love them both. I use the DPV9 at work, as they are easy to carry without having extra juice around. The 510 is my around the house vape. Both supply good vapor and good throat hit.
Not sure if eastmall will ship to military address though, a quick e-mail to Ed should answer that though.

Wow - thanks for the quick responses and recommendations!!

Unfortunately, Widow is out of the 510 kits - I like the no-led idea, though!

I thought I saw a reference (somewhere - maybe another site) of stores that ship to APO addresses, I'll have to see if I can find it again.

Please keep the suggestions coming!! happily recommended 3 batts/atomizers, 10-20 cartridges, and a couple bottles of juice - does this sound like a good 'starter kit' to everyone? Recommendations for strength to be similar to marlboro light 100s?

That No-LED is more than an idea - From what I understand there is nothing but trouble from the LED types - You want the one without the LED - The LED ones have chips in them that break down A LOT from what I hear.

Can you get to JantyUSA.com or Jantyshop.com(UK)? - Their 510's are called the Dura-C and come with 3 months replacement on battery and 6 months on the other parts - This gear has a habit of going out on you - So that replacement policy is well worth the $5-$10 more they charge at Janty - They only cary the non-led type which has a closed battery chamber to cut down on juice leak issues - Too many problems with the LED ones -

    Try totallywicked-eliquid.com

They sell the 510 as the Titan, they will cost a little more though.

Those are the LED on the end type - Not a sealed battery

Also - at present you are never sure if an order from China will get through -
You are probably blocked from China sites in general I would suspect- so not a problem :)
