To honor our vets we are having an ejuice sale or a mech mod sale, etc.

Really? Does that "hit anyone" the wrong way?

Would vets be proud we are buying overpriced ejuice for 20% off in their honor:confused:

Is this a way to honor our veterans? Did I wake up on the wrong side of the bed today?

It's kind of-----Yech:facepalm:

I guess I don't think any of them to give two flips about our vets. All they care about is selling more juice on the bodies and limbs of those that sacrificed.

It's kind of disgusting, really.

Wlad (a veteran) and his wife Alley at Ahlusion have some special deals for veterans and customers alike. They have been my go-to vendor for juice ever since I discovered them. Peppermint Bark, Lemon Vanilla Cream, Caramel Wild Wood, Caramel Pear Black Tea, the list goes on and on!:) Fan Club here on ECF: Ahlusion E-Juice Part 3

If you've ever wanted to try their eliquid now is the time. They are offering all their xpress juice at 50% off today.

1. About Ahlussion
2. A Special Thanks: Veterans Day

As a veteran, I don't offend easily, but I always thought it was a bit tacky for businesses to use either Veteran's Day or Memorial Day to sell more product and make more money.

IMO, if a business is sincere about helping and supporting veterans, the discounts for veterans would be in place all year round, versus just 1 or 2 days.

Tacky is a good word. Could not think of it. Thank you.

I get what you are saying. It doesn't honor them in any way unless they are donating money to veterans groups such as Wounded Warrior. I think just saying they are having a Veterans Day sale is more accurate and truthful.

Anyone who is offering sales on Veteran's Day or any other recognized holiday, is running a business and trying to make money. That's what business owners do, and they have to use any marketing angle they can. That's what pays the bills and puts food on the table. At the end of the day though, Veteran's Day is about remembering those men and women who have fought for our freedoms, having compassion for the families that have lost loved ones in the fight, and making sure they know that we recognize their sacrifice and show gratitude for their service. I only participated in one supplier's Veteran's day sale, and while on that thread I was blessed to hear the stories of a few hero's lives that I have never met. I did score me a good deal on a bottle of juice, but that's not what I was thinking about when I got up from my PC. I read the stories posted by family members here on ECF of fallen soldiers, I cried, I remembered, and I thanked God for making such brave souls. Mission accomplished
