There was an article regarding the FDA's fairly new stance on how tobacco cigarettes are labeled and why we no longer see "light", "Ultra Light", "Medium" ect. on packages of cigarettes. But one sentence struck me as so hypocritical, it actually made me laugh. Not because it was funny, it wasn't. I laughed because the FDA really does think that we believe they do things in our best interests...

"The FDA wants to ensure that tobacco advertising is no longer misleading smokers by implying that there is a safer choice when it comes to cigarettes and other tobacco products"

What a joke! They want to ensure advertising is no longer misleading? Where was their concern when people started becoming terminally ill from smoking?? Where was their concern when they approved every ingredient IN cigarettes, knowing full-well the chemicals were harmful?? Where was their concern when 5 of my family members died from smoking??
I simply don't understand how anyone who has any affiliation with the FDA, can wake up, look in the mirror, and be perfectly ok with who they are and what they stand for. They hide the truth for years, yet NOW they are concerned??
Oh and btw FDA, there IS a safer choice when it comes to cigarettes!! Problem is, you want to take it from us. We can ALL see just HOW concerned you really are :glare:

Yeah.
Those bums know full well that ultra lights and lights and vents and all of that nonsense just made people inhale more deeply and hurt themselves even more.. They know that cigarettes have 100s of times the acceptable levels of many known carcinogens.. The government makes a fortune selling cigarettes, so it's okay.

There sure IS a safer alternative. But they don't push it. It's not their 95% failure rate NRT garbage. So it must be attacked.

ever wonder how Hitler woke up, looked in the mirror, and was perfectly ok with who he was and what he stood for while murdering millions? the same way the FDA agents of destruction do.
