I vape a lot, and yes when near smoke detectors I have set them off, and there has been film on windows. Still no where near the levels of a pack a day habit. My advice is to make a exit plan though, as the other person seems to be looking for a excuse to be rid of all things that may or may not cause COPD, I have lived with a person that had (and I say had) because they have beat the Cancer but will always have COPD because of the abuse they have done to their self of years of smoking, and the workplace standards of the past. And I know for a fact that I have very positive results from the doctors reports for myself. So best of luck to you, You can't change other people or their mindset, If It was myself I would ask if it bothered that person, If yes either try to curb your vaping in the house or find other options. Good luck either way. Hope you can find a way to better health for both of you.
